If the human brain is numbed for something like surgery, it does not live for the time that it is numbed. So what on Earth makes us believe that long after it turns back into dust that our thoughts or soul live on? I can see it is a GREAT DESIRE, but it is not rooted in any kind of fact.

My last question I asked on this site was can anyone!!! Quote me a verse where it says you have to be married to have sex according to God? people are sitting there trying to make up their own definitions for the meanings of Gods words. HELLO-----Adultery---you have to already be married in order to commit adultery!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have quoted Leviticous chapters 20 and 21 tells Gods rules about having sex and NOWHERE in there does it say you have to be married to do it!!!! Fornification is when you do not obey the rules GOD!!!! set in Leviticous chapters 20 and 21!!!!!!!!!!!1

There are billions of billions of stars (if not an infinite amount) whose light has not yet reached Earth.

1) What would be the purpose in creating these stars unless there are other planets with life on them?
2) If there are not other planets with life on them, then why would the world end before light from all the stars reached Earth?
3) Wouldn't it be pointless to have created un-viewable stars in the first place?
4) If you just say, "well, it was made that way to hold everything together," doesn't that seem imperfect and unnecessary -- billions of stars just to keep one tiny planet's orbit running smoothly? I would think that if God was omnipotent and omniscient, He would think of a simpler why of doing this.

What are your thoughts?

I'm not really christian, since the majority of people in that religon piss me off. I am a Witch however, but since I was christian before I still believe in Jesus, that's allowed right? I mean since the wiccan religion doesn't really have a mesiah, are we allowed to pick out our own? Like a wiccan who worships Buddah? Allah? Maybe even Ganesh? But not Satan since witches don't believe in Satan huh? But yeah Witches are allowed to do that right?

I used to go to church but my pastor condemmned me because i smoke, I tried to explain to him that it was gods place to judge me for what i do not his but he just shunned me and told me i was going against god. he also tied into me for watching a so called "new age" movie. I don't believe the things in the movie I just found it entertaining, I quit going to church now I think that god knows how I feel he doesn't need me in church to prove it to him. I'm a good person i care about others and treat other people as well as i can so why is the pastor so anal about the whole thing?
