ALL OF IT!!! I guess some people are a bit too jaded to recognize all of the awesomeness of thanksgiving, listed as follows:
1. Day off from work (for most people) without the problems of other holidays (i.e. gift exchange).
2. Gorging until burst on comfort food.
3. An excellent excuse for people to come together.
4. Promotion of the rarely exercised concept of giving... ect.
The list goes on. All I have to say to any naysayers, is first try serving food at a soup kitchen on thanksgiving and then tell me how horrible your life is on this holiday. Unless your living on a street (which is unlikely b/c you are screwing around on a computer) then this day is a great day, so get over it and start celebrating!
