I'm not really christian, since the majority of people in that religon piss me off. I am a Witch however, but since I was christian before I still believe in Jesus, that's allowed right? I mean since the wiccan religion doesn't really have a mesiah, are we allowed to pick out our own? Like a wiccan who worships Buddah? Allah? Maybe even Ganesh? But not Satan since witches don't believe in Satan huh? But yeah Witches are allowed to do that right?

I was a Christian before and since practicing Wicca and was never told that it was taboo. I know a lot of practicing Wiccan's that celebrate Christian practices (like holiday's for members of their families or whatever) and it isn't frowned upon. The beauty of this religion is that it isn't filled with biased people....believe and worship whatever you feel comfortable with.

The problem with being a Christian Wiccan is that there is a serious conflict of doctrine and dogma. The Christian Doctrine prohibits most of the ideas that make Wicca, well Wiccan...like the use of magick, scrying, not keeping the sabbath day, reincarnation, and so forth. Also Wiccan is Pantheistic - belief in many gods...a major conflict with Judeo/Christian belief.
What you are doing, and don't take this too harshly, is riding the fence to hedge your bets...you wont become fully Wiccan because you are afraid of angering the God of your religious upbringing (and possibly your loved ones), but yet you are more drawn to the Wiccan religion because it is more in keeping with what you personally believe a religion should be.
Luckily for you, you have your whole life to sort this out, meditate, weigh your options, do some soul searching.
Because truthfully, these religions just do not mesh well with each other.

i think i read somewhere that wiccans are numbered at about 100 thousand or 200k. I dont think Jesus is going to stop you from learning to become a healer. However. christians piss me off too. So do muslims and jews.
But when i read the scriptures from the christian tradition I read specific verses that SAY do not practice witchcraft and sorcery and wizardry. Then again, those that follow lucifer or satan will always learn the BLACK majicks and Knowledge Must be obtained in order to defend against such evil.
I could not step over the Line of black and white. I can only defend myself by asking God for protection. But God does not always spare me, nor has He from the worst of evil things that i know of. Specifically, God did not spare his Own Son.
All christians likewise who believe in the scripture will TELL you NO WAY, its not allowed.
being an american is the ONLY privelage in the earth that gives you the right of freedom of religion. but christianity has not always been such a comfort in history.

As a witch,I feel I can be straight forward with you and tell you, that we don't really need a saviour as witches don't believe in "sin",we believe in "what goes around comes around",aquila is right in saying what jesus did (assuming he existed)was magick ,and technically would put him on par with gods such as dionysus,Amoun-ra,and Odhinn,I personally reject the belief in the entirety of Christianity's Dogma as I feel it leads to confusion and misunderstanding by outsiders of my faith who question whether I have "true faith",(i.e. if you are a pagan who doesn't believe in Hell, why do you continue to worship Jesus, are you afraid you'll go there? and the like) and it also creates oxymoronical sub-genres like "Christian Witchcraft "and such, that make actual nature-worshippers look stupid. For me "Witch" means someone who worships a nature god and goddess, not someone who suscribes to the doctrines of a religion which teaches that animals don't have souls and the earth is basically a commodity to be used as we see fit.But I respect everyone's opinion to interpret that word as they see fit,to each his (and her )own.

Why don't you know what is allowed by your religion? You sound very confused. Witches don't believe in Satan, but you are asking if they will let you believe in Jesus? Jesus is God in human form. God knows Satan. Satan knows God. You really need to think hard about what your true beliefs are. Pray on it.

Of course it's all right--Gavin and Yvonne Frost who started the church and school of wicca wrote a book entitled "The magick power of witchcraft" as an introduction to wicca, and in it they state that it is perfectly acceptable and even give tips for reconciling the two--Blessed be!

Witches believe in magic, which means they believe they can dictate the elements around them, which is impossible. The idea is that these laws exist because of God, and by attempting to tamper with them, you are attempting to take on, if only temporarily, a power that only God has.
You can believe in Jesus, but don't try to mix him with your wicca, because the two don't mix. They just don't. Jesus goes with Christianity. You dont have to follow Christianity to believe in Jesus, but don't mix him with other things.

Chapter 22 of revelation you really wouldn't like if you read it, but Chrisianits can't be wiccan or vice versa. Your either one or the otheer. You can't be both. Merly saying that Christ does not stand for withchcraft.
