The mark of the beast is not superstition..it is biblical prophecy and well on its way to being fulfilled. 666 is the number of Antichrist..a pseudo messiah..who will bring peace between the Jew and the Muslim with a treaty..and he will break that treaty in the middle of the great tribulation period...after 3 and a half years..he will actually be "Satan" incarnate..No one will be able to make any transaction without the "mark"..a number placed on the forehead or on the right hand. gee..just imagine..a completely cashless society..doesn't sound like superstition to me..sounds like reality coming into play..and the greatest cataclysmic events this world has ever seen..read Matthew chapters 24-26..the words of Jesus Himself explaining to the disciples about the end of the world conditions..don't be deceived..ask God to open your eyes to reveal the Truth.

Well, I'm a Christian, so I think the Bible certainly has some influence on me, but I honestly don't know about the whole 666 thing.
I suppose it's just one of those weird, human feelings towards it.
I don't believe in any other superstitions. I just know that it would be rather foolish to walk under a ladder, since the thing could collapse and fall onto you... DUH.
Others don't bother me. I don't own any umbrellas, so I can't open one indoors, and I happen to like black cats. He he he.

according to what I have read and heard the number 666 was the number which the emperor Nero Cesar's name adds up to. therefore the number 666 represents much evil since Nero was the one who burned Rome and blamed the Christians for doing so.

In the practice of numerology 6+6+6 = 18. 1+8 =9.
Number 9 is a positive number concerned with compassion,altruism,spiritual matters and so on.It does not appear to have any of the attributes of its supposed biblical significance.

yes, it is physically true. That is the biochip implanted in our hand or forehead so you will be monitored 24 hours a day. 666 is the computer sign if you open the machine.

No. It was here and passed. Our calendar definately didn't start at the beginning of time, so it would have passed a long time ago and we are still here. There is just as much evil as good in this world.
