I have to say I'm quite ignorant on what Thanksgiving Day is in the US? I assume it is something about a dinner the pilgrims had with the Native Indian American's before or after they slaughtered them?

What else is it about?

What do you do on Thanksgiving apart from eat a lovely big dinner? Do you get presents? Are there songs you sing? Do you have to go to church that morning?

Are candied yams sweet potatoes?

Making things better for us all, helping the real needy and changing values so that the people doing things right get paid well and get the recognition, taking the attention off of idiot celebrities or atheletes that act like brats, and inflated egos that think they are smart or important because they made a fortune by firing a bunch of good people and sending the jobs over seas, prosecutor lies or withholds evidence causing an innocent person to go to jail should have to serve time Political corruption is punished with severe hard labor and never able to work in the government again. We need to stop spending tour money at the stores that are selling us crap from other countires, We used to be a great country. What needs to be done?. Where do we start? What would the rules be to make it a great place to live, not just work your self to death.. I guess I would get an organic farm and sell pure food with nutrients

If you believe that Jesus (PBUH) is the son of God (Allah) WHAT does the following verse in the bible mean? WHO was Jesus praying to if you claim Jesus IS God? And WHY was he praying if he knew he was to be sacrificed for the sins of mankind?

I dreamt that I was at this old farmhouse. Out the back I saw all these creatures like insects. But leading the group were aligators. All these brightly dressed people were trying to get into the house, they were let in by me except for one person - a man dressed in a fairy costume who would not go past the aligators. THere were 5 aligators. He ended up sitting on a bench that was next to a wall near the back door of the house and despite me asking him to rush by them he would not move. It was a very vivid dream. I am not sure if the aligators were guarding the house or threatening the house but they all came up very quickly to the back door. thats all I can remember.

About 16 years ago, I was around 12 years old. I had to use the bathroom, so I went in there and (out of habit) I took a magazine with me. I remember it was night, and a friday night. I was in the upstairs bathroom, and I was alone upstairs by myself. The bathroom window was open and I remember it being a still and calm night out. To make a long story short, I went in and sat down for only about maybe 5 minutes, the time was 9:16 pm, but when I came out it was 10:26! There is no way I was in there that long! I only was in there for what seems like a few minutes, but when I came out, a whole hour had passed! Seems like my legs or feet would have been asleep from sitting all that time (if I was really in there that long) but they weren't! What could have possibly happened? Does this seem like I was a victim of missing time?
