i used to feel the same way, for many years due to having too many poor male role-models (for lack of a better word) in my life...dad, step-dad, uncles, sicko husband, employers, etc. i realized after doing some "self-discovery" work, that i was living a self-fulfilling prophecy of sorts...automatically believing most men are going to do me wrong, and the whole transference thing. then my son-in-law came into my life, and he has done a lot to prove that there are many really good men in the world. i have a much better attitude now and am really enjoying the friendships, etc i have with the opposite sex.
a lot of men have been equally mistreated by females too. there are a bunch of messed up ppl walking with us on this planet!

You Husband was upset because: He wanted you to have fun and enjoy the wedding as much as he did. He went off to mingle, thinking you were secure enough to hang and mingle and have fun too. Instead of telling him "I felt ignored" you told him, "I felt like YOU ignored ME." which is totally different. When you told him you felt like he ignored you, what he heard was: "you're a great big failure as a husband, you can't do anything right" and naturally, that put him on the defensive. Now, when us girls are really upset, we cry. What men do when they're that same level of upset is they get angry. So next time your husband gets angry, remember, he's feeling the way you feel when you're so upset you're crying. He's just expressing it differently. A better way to have answered his question would have been this: "I'm not upset Honey, but I would've liked to have hung with you a little more this evening." That expresses the same thing, but doesn't attack him for "ignoring" you. After all, at any point in the evening you could've gone to him and said, "hey, let's get a drink" or "hey, let's dance this dance" or "hey, let's slip outside for a smoke break" or something. Best wishes to you, I hope this helps. Oh, and one final thought: When your man DOES get angry, instead of responding with anger right back at him and making the situation worse, instead try saying, "Honey, I'm so sorry that you're upset. I'll bet I've said something that felt like an attack to you and that's not how I meant it."

We associate attractive people as good. You haven't found an attractive enough person to make you block out all the annoying crap he does. I know sounds shallow. It's true though if your on a date with someone you don't find the least bit appealing any little thing they do you are more likely to say it was a bad date. If you are on a date with Brad Pitt he could probably wear his food get drunk and start a fight with a stranger and some girls would still say it was a good date.

You're a female .... this is perfectly normal behaviour ... we don't understand you either ...
Seriously ... could be just a long phase you're going through ... depending on age it could be that you're maturing faster than those boys around you that you "hang" with .... it will settle ... eventually
