If anyone sins deliberately by rejecting the Savior after knowing the truth of forgiveness, this sin is not covered by Christ's death; there is no way to get rid of it.

What does this mean? I'm having trouble understanding it. Thanks

I have this friend that I've known for about four years and I'm starting to think that he's gay. We always go out to lunch together during school and we spend alot of time together, but sometimes he acts a little gay. I've never seen him check out any girls before but I've never seen him check out any guys before either. He did tell me that he slept in the same bed with one of my other friends, but that's all he told me and he's never had a girl friend before. We're best friends and I don't want to ruin out relationship by asking if he's gay. Are there any signs I can look for to tell if he's gay? Please help.

I have had alot of answers 2 a question that I posted further on in this section.
You have responded to it saying that u cant see air but its real or that you have neva seen the south pole/albert einstien ect..u have neva seen them but u know they are real.....................
Well, these are all things that are real i.e oxigen helps us breath, the objects/people are real because we have proof to there existance buy picture's & so on..

So why do people give these answers when trying to explain god? I wanted to know why u believe in somthing we have neva seen & you have used examples on living/real objects?

Im not questioning your believes im only asking why you believe so strongly in something that neva has or will be proven real.

Please dont be offended as thats was not my aim.

I always hear these ignorant people saying that blacks should go back to africa... don't you realize that your ancestors came from europe?? and that the only people with any claim to country are the native americans? I am a christian who often questions why celebrating Christmas is so important. I was reading a question on this website and someones answer to "why do non-christians celebrate christmas?" was because it was very similar to Yule, a Pagan holiday, so what exactly is Yule, and how similar are the two?

There was an interesting case of much ado about nothing recently with a school that was going to serve halal chicken rather than turkey for Christmas dinner (they eventually decided to have the chicken, the turkey, and the vegetarian option). I'm in a Christian society at a university that is having its Christmas meal soon and we discussed whether to invite the Muslim society, since we're trying to make interfaith links.

I know shockingly little about Islam, and it suddenly occurs to me that I've no idea how or if the average Muslim celebrates Christmas. It's become so secular that it doesn't really show its pagan roots any more, let alone Christian ones.

Obviously, Muslims are a diverse bunch but I'd really like to know what some of you think! What do you think of Christmas? Do you celebrate it, and if so, how?

I get a lot of **** from ppl when they find out where i am from, but before are all over me telling me how "pretty" or "hot' i am. but what do you think of us? any slight racism? when u find out some one is arab what do you think? do you believe the steretype that all arabs are dark skinned dark haired hairy etc. ? (my whole family is blonde haired, fair skinned, either green, hazel , or light brown eyes and we are pure arab)

Some people believe that african americans in america are rude and disruptive and maintain no manners in public. This question is steming from the Michael richards incident this past week, were he was annoyed with and exploded on two african american patrons who he says were acting rude, loud and disruptive during his comedy routine. He definetly should not have called them N#@! or made any racial comment but I noticed that some people today often say that african americans are loud and disruptive at movie theaters, resturaunts, and other public events. Obviously im not talking about an entire race but in general as a community. does any one else notice this?
