Is there really a such thing as a curse word?

the B**** word, the A** word, the Mother F*** word are all words used out of context. Why do we teach that these words are bad? Will christians go to hell for saying these words?

PLEASE don't tell me the internet!
I want REAL socialization. I've come to learn that the best relationships I've had, have been with people that I have met in other areas besides bars and the internet.
I want to meet someone REAL, not someone who can make up a story about themselves through words on a screen.

It's just been my experience, that I can't seem to find ANYONE, straight women, gay women, straight men, or gay men, who wants to date a female-to-male transsexual that still has the 'girly' bits. So where do you go to meet open minded, and INTELLIGENT people who UNDERSTAND the difference between sex and gender and feel that what's between a person's legs isn't as important as what's in their heart and between their ears?

As a humanist, I am scared... nay, petrified about the current state of affairs in this country regarding religion. After having been on Yahoo! Answers this long, I am truly saddened by the amount of willful ignorance, irrational thought, and absurd beliefs I have seen represented in this section. Is critical thought on the decline or on the rise? Are there other atheists/freethinkers/humanists that share my concern?

At funerals, people always gather around and share stories and comments on the deceased's life. Especially in terms of how much that person touched them. Wouldn't it be more effective to tell the deceased this before they die?

The royals do not bother me, but eventually, they will be abolished.

In your opinion, HOW MUCH LONGER do you think the royals will last?
20 years? 50? 100? 200? 500? 1000?
Give your reason why.

Why can't we all just be openly racist....? I mean we all are to a certain degree, so why don't we, I grew up in a country where there is true multi culturism, everything official from money to news to signs to notices are in three languages, all religious festivals are official public holidays (the Buddhist, the Christians, the Hindus and the Muslims) so there were 36 public holidays a year, being in such an environment we recognized all races of having their own thing and learned we appreciated it

But now that I have moved to the WEST it's all different, not many are openly racist but they ARE racist, multi culturism seems to be about having different sorts of restaurants and people with different looks but nothing to do with their culture, loads of back stabbing involving the race, I think if racism was out in the open people would be able to deal with it more affectively, one big problem I see about racism today being hard to deal with is cos it apparently don't exist

So who's your God? Be as creative as you can be. It can be anything or anyone.

But they all seem to like it and it makes me feel good to make them feel good. So if everybody feels goo, what's the harm?

How do we justify the Bible that we use as truth? What we use is a translation of text (or in some cases a translation of a translation). Things are usually lost in a translation
