Definition of Antichrist:-
Antichrist means against or instead of Christ. The term applies to all who deny what the Bible says about Jesus Christ, all who oppose his Kingdom, and all who mistreat his followers. It also includes individuals, organizations, and nations that falsely claim to represent Christ or that improperly ascribe to themselves the role of Messiah.

Does the Bible refer to only one antichrist?
1 John 2:18: “Young children, it is the last hour, and, just as you have heard that antichrist is coming, even now there have come to be many antichrists; from which fact we gain the knowledge that it is the last hour.”
2 John 7: “Many deceivers have gone forth into the world, persons not confessing Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.” (Notice that the “many antichrists” of 1 John 2:18 are here referred to collectively as “the antichrist.”)

Some of those identified as antichrist—
Persons who deny that Jesus is truly the Messiah
1 John 2:22: “Who is the liar if it is not the one that denies that Jesus is the Christ [or, Messiah, anointed one]? This is the antichrist.”

All who deny that Jesus is the unique Son of God
1 John 2:22: “This is the antichrist, the one that denies the Father and the Son.”
Compare John 10:36; Luke 9:35.

Apostates
1 John 2:18, 19: “There have come to be many antichrists . . . They went out from us, but they were not of our sort.”

Those who oppose Christ’s true followers
John 15:20, 21: “If they have persecuted me, they will persecute you also . . . But they will do all these things against you on account of my name.”

Individuals and nations that oppose Christ as King or that themselves falsely claim the Messianic role
Psalm. 2:2: “The kings of earth take their stand and high officials themselves have massed together as one against Jehovah and against his anointed one [Christ, or Messiah].”
See also Revelation 17:3, 12-14; 19:11-21.
Matthew. 24:24: “False Christs and false prophets will arise and will give great signs and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones.”

There is one Anti Christ that will come and many will follow Him- he is a worker of Satan- Him and the False Prophet. But there are MANY anti-christs today those who are against God.

1 John 2:22
Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.

2 John 1:7
For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist.

This is no secret. God would not warn us about a coming antichrist and then forget to tell us his identity. Let's look at some clues.

Paul said in 2 Thessalonians that the antichrist power (mystery of iniquity) was already at work in his day.

Paul also said that the antichrist would be part of a big falling away (apostasy) within christianity.

Paul said the antichrist would stand in the temple of God and proclaim himself to be God

Peter calls the church the temple of God with its members as lively stones that make up the church with Christ as the Cornerstone.

There is no other temple for the antichrist to stand up in.

Any new temple built in Jerusalem would not be called the temple of God because the Jews rejected the Messiah (Behold your house is left unto you desolate)

According to Daniel and Revelation, the antichrist power will rule for 1260 years before receiving a deadly wound which would later heal.

Daniel declared the antichrist would arise out of Pagan Rome which fell in AD 476.

The antichrist power is the same as the whore of Babylon. A women in Bible prophecy denotes a church. A whore denotes an adulterous church.

This woman rides a beast. A beast is a kingdom. This is a union of church and state.

This antichrist power blasphemes God and kills the saints of the Most High. Blasphemy, according to scripture is defined as claiming to be God or have His attributes.

Who could this be? Well, what entity was growing into power in Paul's day, but could not fully be revealed because of the current Pagan system of Caesars, came into being after AD 476, ruled for exactly 1260 years (538-1798), slew the saints of the most high (some 50 million), blasphemes God by declaring to be "God on earth", declares the power to forgive sins, is a church state combination, received a deadly wound in 1798 when its leader was taken captive by Napoleon, started healing the wound in 1929 when Mussolini gave the kingdom back to this power, is a little kingdom, is run by a man (the man of sin), tried to change the law of God, grew up in the midst of Europe?

There is only one nation that fits every detail. The Roman Catholic Church. Wycliffe, Tyndale, Knox, Jerome, Huss, Galileo, Sir Isaac Newton, Luther, Calvin, all these and many others believed and taught this vital truth. Many gave their lives because of it. Why have we decided to rewrite history? It couldn't be more clear.

Anti-Christ (Dajjal in Arabic) is a guy who will appear before the end of the time. Most Jews will follow him. He will claim himself as God.

There are over fifty scholarly comments on the meaning of the word Maseeh (Messiah). They said that this word is applied both to the Truthful One [True Messiah, i.e., ‘Eesa (Jesus)] and to the misleading liar [the “antichrist” or Dajjaal]. The Messiah is the Truthful One, ‘Eesa ibn Maryam (Jesus the son of Mary), the Messiah of guidance, who healed those who were born blind and lepers, and brought the dead to life by Allaah’s Leave.

The false messiah (al-maseeh al-dajjaal) is the liar who leads people astray, the messiah of misguidance who will tempt people by means of the signs that he is given, such as bringing down rain, reviving the earth to bring forth vegetation, and other “miracles.”

The Anti-Christ will not appear until after the rapture . So focus your attention on pleasing God. Look for Him, not the AC.

I always believe that Lucifer was the anti-Christ till recently I learned that Luciferians or or certain Satanists believe Jesus and Lucifer is the same entity. So, for Lucifer to be the anti-Christ he would have to kill himself. (Ironically according to Christian beliefs Heaven would be full of Satanists that accepted Jesus/Lucifer as their God.
