Dear one when God states "owe no man anything" he is speaking about people who will constantly stay in a condition where they owe people and will not repay it. If you have a loan of anything and you hold to the repay agreement you have then that is a totally different situation. Rather than owing someone a debt you have no intention of repaying.
God bless you :)

This decisions is something you have to make by prayer and allowing God to work in your life..Ask Him first before doing it..Give Him some time to answer some times it is right on and you just know and sometimes it takes a few days..Just listen carefully...I dont think nothing is wrong in getting the loans,if your heart is right you will want to make sure it is payed back, and who knows the Lord may step in and have someone pay for it,,Praise God that would be such a blessing huh..Just make sure God is the first you ask..

You should try everything in your power to get funding from organizations which are controlled by people of your religion and follow the set rules of your religion. I had to do so to take out an interest free loan for my house. It is hard and frustrating but for me it was worth it. If you do everything that you can and it doesnt work out that way then pray to God. God knows you did everything you could and ask for forgiveness. God is merciful.

I guess that means you don't have credit cards, or loan things to your friends either, huh? I think you will be ok, every Church in the US has a line of credit with something, and the average American has thousands in debt..
Unless you think everyone is going to hell I think you are ok, if you do think that everyone with a loan out is a sinner, please, by all means, don't go to college...

I think this is more of a general instruction: don't put yourself in frivolous debt, etc. Student loans are definitely on the approved list, as long as you don't squander them on something they're not meant for - and pay them back as soon as you can.

God is ok with you taking out loans, but He would not be ok if you did not repay those loans. If you took that money and did not repay it, then you would be owing someone. It's ok to borrow and repay. But it is not ok to borrow and not repay, That would be stealing.

God would understand. He would want you to make something of yourself. Don't worry. As long as you pay it off.

It isn't saying that you shouldn't ask for help, it saying that you should remember who has helped you and that you should try to repay the favor.
