The theme of the Bible has not changed, no matter how it has been translated. The fact that God's Kingdom is a real government that has his Son Jesus ruling as it's King along with a "little flock" of anointed co-rulers (kings & priests) is what God's Word is all about. The wonderful blessings that this heavenly government will do for our planet earth and for the meek ones who inherit it has never been lost in any translation.
Psalms 37:9-11 and Micah 4:3 are just a few of the many blessings that will soon be a reality.

It is very possible that there are some copying errors in the bible. The main reason that God inspired the Bible was to let mankind know about salvation through faith in His Son Jesus Christ. Close to 200 times in the New Testament salvation is said to be by faith alone - with no works in sight. Consider the following verses:
John 3:25 tells us that "everyone who believes in him may have eternal life."
John 5:24 says, "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life."
In John 22:25 Jesus says, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies."
John 12:46 says, "I have come into the world as light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness."
John 20:31 says, "But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."
I have only listed five verses about salvation through faith, but there are one hunderd and ninety five more of them.
I believe that even if there were a few copying errors that the message of salvation is very clear and could not be mistaken. That is why the Lord keeps on repeating it.
There is nothing wrong with asking your question though.
It is good to research everything you can about God and his word.
Blessings

Watchman pisses on his own foot... apparently, he's unfamiliar with circular reasoning.
"The Bible is the Word of God because the Bible says it is the Word of God... we know this to be true, because the Bible is the Word of God."
So it's self-authoritative, and you don't find that to be the least bit absurd?!
You can throw out all the verses you want about how the Bible says that it is true and that people are not going to believe in it. Pointing out the obvious certainly doesn't make the book any more 'holy'.

well unelss you have an origional text, to verify or invalidate your texts. you are taking a great risk of altering scripture.
and in fact one of the more common errors is calling adam and chaooah, adam and eve instead. or callying Eyov by the name job, which is just too obvious of an error to miss. and are severe violations of althering scripture. even calling Evareem and Yehoodah, by the name jews, is a severe violation. and all of these alterations of scripture, shall be the cause of continued pestilence, plague, and famine, in all forms of hell and death in your societies.
and if you are the cause of cancerating scripture without repent, then so shall your societies physicialy be given this. and cause shallow breath and poluted conditions, in the world.
and if G-D tells you not to alter scripture. then HE is not going to accept any of your excuses for using altered texts. and you can't have a transliterated name with a j, prior to about 1055 ad. and still did not become fasionable untill the 17th century. so there can be nobody by the name jesus, prior to these times. since the j did not appear in any language, at the alleged time of the occurance. and one of the tactics of the enemies of G-D, is to alter names in scripture, causing you to be in violation of altering scripture.

You are right,I use it as a reference, but I'm very careful.I do know that much is lost in translating mystical, spiritual experience into linear words and sentences, let alone having those words tranlated over and over.

The Faith of those of The True Christian Faith is not from any book. We of The Faith do study God's Word by the leading of The Holy Spirit... but, our Faith is based on The Truth of God not written words.... On The Day of my Salvation I did not even own a Bible. It was just God and me.

I wholeheartedly agree with Watchman's answer.
jaycubb: The Bible never claimed to be written by God but inspired by God.
2Timothy 3:16-17
"All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, Â that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work."
Reverend Red Mage, you are wrong people DO believe in the Bible and only the Bible in spiritual matters.
The scripture above is the from the Bible and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.
The spirit of the world is set against the teachings of the Bible and look what a terrible state of suffering it is in.
Isaiah 48:18
"O if only you would actually pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea."

How come whenever Jehovah's Witnesses answer any questions, all they do is copy and paste things? That's so annoying. Who's gonna take the time to read all of that? Do they have guidelines as to how to respond on the internet? "For questions about the Bible, cut and paste 'X'. For questions about why we come to your house and bug the $h!t out of you, paste 'Y'."

Why do so many doubt the word of God?
Stop looking for error. There is no error with the Lord. The enemy is trying to lead you astray by making you doubt.
Be aware of that.
1 Peter 1:25
but the word of the Lord remains forever."And this word is the good news that was preached to you.
