Quote Ratzinger Pope Benedict speaking about Jesus:
"If we may borrow the language of the theory of evolution, it is the greatest 'mutation,' absolutely the most crucial leap into a totally new dimension that there has ever been in the long history of life and its development.

Now what I am saying is not that there isnt no god, but god is not a form. We already know that god is not something tangible, neither is our spirit. But yet we know this, but try to define god as being some person, or being that sits in the clouds and only rewards his followers. This is wrong that is right. ...What if it didnt make a difference, that the only wrong or right is based on the energy that you attract, and you see from the energy the difference in your life.
and we call it god, because as man we must have a defintion
Just wondering

I am a Christian, However, I don't mind using my own logic and rationality to come to some conclusion. I pray for answers to questions, but to have 'blind faith' is not something I am interested in. I have to study, learn and understand fully. Not just trust a preacher.

Can't find it. Think it isn't in the Bible. Have conservative Christians read this book. All I found is the story of lot in the old testament and many Hebrew Scholars claim God punished Sodom and Gomorrah for their treatment of the poor and their lack of hospitality.

In Deut. 29: 23-26 . . ."destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which the Lorddestroyed in his fierce anger-- they and indeed all the nations will wonder, "Why has the Lord done thus to this land? What caused this great display of anger?" They will conclude, "It is because they abandoned the covenant of the Lord, the God of their ancestors, which he made with them when he brought them out of the land of Egypt. They turned and served other gods, worshiping them, gods whom they had not known and whom he had not allotted to them"
Deut. 32:32 also speaks of Sodom and Gomorrah, without any hint of homosexuality.
The prophet Ezekiel, for example, wrote in 16:4

Whats the deal with this? poppys are red, the pretty little flowers growing at the side of the road and the red paper poppys millions of us wear every year to remember the pepole who gave their lives in the wars.
Who in their right mind would want to change such an important symbol of rememberance into a christian statement? surly this will be an insult to the non christian casualtys of war?
I for one will not give up my red poppys, whos with me?

have the intelligence (if not the wisdom and experience) of a human being? If you believe this might be possible in the future, how do you envision you would interact with that computer and/or android? And while we're on that topic, do you think you would consider having an android as your guest at some future Thanksgiving dinner? Now I know there will be laws prohibiting marriage between human and android, but (be honest now) would you consider making an android your life partner and living together with him/her/it in sin?

When creation began, wasn't that sin or difference from God at that time? Whereas there was no division or that God was the only existence, a collective whole, there would be no sin would there? God's division has redefined sin in our lives to be major differences amongst ourselves that God does not like(which is us combined with all other creation that God divided into) so that we could have a functional civil chance of not killing each other and eliminating the human creation from existence because of our bickering over the oppressed differences?
