Beautiful

I love India's history, belief system (aside from the caste system), and traditions. It seems like such a beautiful culture rich in tradition.

Unfortunately, the India I perceive today seems overcrowded and poor. I hear of many Indias coming to America to study medicine on India's dollar and never return to India. America is also losing many jobs to India. Americans find it hard to deal with customer service foreigners who do not speak English on the phone. I think this paints a very negative view. This is the opinion of someone who's never been to India.

Fascinating! I'd love to visit. The culture and beliefs really intrigue me. The food, the deities, clothing; it's wonderful! I am concerned about the views of women. I'm not well versed in many customs & wonder if women are given many rights.

It's a beautiful place and most of the Indians I've met are very nice people, but India itself is mostly impoverished and the politicians are corrupt. (Same as everywhere else.) That's just my general understanding, tho.
