The reality is the vast majority of British muslims a peaceful people who respect our laws and contribute to our society, yet the media desperatly cling on to any one individual minorities opinion and present it as the view of the masses. Look at the veil argument... what impact does a muslim woman who choses to wear a veil have on YOUR life? None! Yet the media grabs onto it and makes it an excuse to demonise all muslims... Why can't people see beyond what their televison is telling them?

I've known a girl for a few years now. There was always an attraction but a year ago we got close and started going out. Our relationship only lasted a couple of months because we both had unresolved issues in our personal lives which needed to be addressed, so we had to be alone. I've never stopped thinking about her since, and she tells me the same. I don't like getting close to people emotionally, but after 8 months I realised how much I loved her. I kept it from her for a while, but after a couple of months of realising, I could tell she felt the same.. so I told her and she said she loves me too. Since the breakup we've been kind of in an open relationship. I really need to be on my own right now for personal reasons, but I can't let her go. She's moving away in a year and I can't stand the thought, although knowing that she'll be happy where she's going is comforting. Im wondering who invented it.. and why that particular noise became designated to the expression of feeling pain? Why not "Gar!" or "Wee!"?? Come to think of it.. who decided "Wee!" should be the expression assossiated with having fun? Is this just in english or do other cultures express the same emotions with the same sounds?

What do you think was meant by the rod and staff comforting the author. I know that the staff would relate to God being the good shepherd that uses the staff to bring a sheep back to safety.

In your opinion, how does a rod comfort the writer? How does the staff comfort the writer?

So I don't really know if you are allowed to do this here. and if not please don’t report just let me know and I will remove ASAP. So anyway I just got back from visiting from Grandparents out of state and a few years ago my grandma started making these things called Ukrainian eggs pysanky. I wanted to know if these are something people are interested in and how I could help here out. I am currently building a website for her, have not gotten it up yet. I posted a add on craigslist but have not gotten a single response anyway I just want some advice. anything will help. Believe it or not there is nothing in this for me just wanna help out my Grandparents. Here's the deal...my boss is sleeping with one of my co-workers..I know this probably happens alot, but we work in a hospital and in a small unit with only about 12 employees. At first they tried to hide it, now they are pretty open about it. No one likes working with her, she does whatever she wants because she knows she can get away with it. Now the holidays are coming up, and he has taken me off my regular rotation to give her the time off. This is going to put me working all 3 major holidays, plus everyone else is just getting mad about how she is getting special treatment...Any ideas of what we should all do????

Snow White is one of the most well-known fairytales.

By deconstructing, what is mean to give alternate endings, twisting the plot, manipulating the characters and other ways that strays from the happily-ever-after scenario.

The decontruction has to make sense like countering the damsel in distress, prince charming archetype.

This is for my gender and sexuality class.

We can't think of an alternate plot with a significant deconstruction.

If I commit a sin and I go to a catholic priest, and ask him for forgiveness, am I forgiven in the eyes of the lord, even if I don't really mean it? (i.e. Coveting something)?
If I do really mean it and I AM repentant, then whats the point of visiting a priest? Surley God knows if I am worthy or not and its not like the Priest is keeping score, as its meant to be private and annonymous anyway?

I always thought this was a bizarre thing to do and i could never work out why my parents made me go every month as a child to tell someone that I had said a sweary word 5 times and stole 10pence of my sister. (something else I wasn't sorry about, I can tell you that!).

My friend who is 38 never had much luck with the ladies, but since the first of this month, he has gone from a zero, to women that know him starting to grin and blush, then first time to ladies night in years got an unpresadented 10 dances and two kisses.

the day after that he ran into a woman he never met before, in of all places a book store! and got her number! the next evening she asked him out!

He swears he cast no spell, but had been thinking about doing on to get noticed. his only holdback being the law of three.

is it possible someone else put a spell on him, (I know that the universe extracts a price for useing magic) or did he think about doing a spell so hard that the intention made things change without his realizing it?
