This is a legitimate question. I am not a child-hater, and I am not talking about getting a coffee to go while you happen to have your children with you.

Coffee shops are traditionally places for adult conversations--philosophers,writers, not to mention the more modern use of adult singles meeting at these locales. To be fair, I will admit that I don't think it's an appropriate setting for children (the main fare is coffee, afterall), and their presence changes the atmosphere immensely ("Johnny, don't! What did I say?!" is often yelled). So, while I do wish parents would not, but I am legitimately wondering why you do so? Thanks in advance!

isnt it strange that there are so many people in the west..europe uk and the usa who say they hate muslims, sick of them in there country etc etc yet if i said hitler had the right idea... i would be seen as offensive etc etc
my own personal view is live and let live take people as you find them regardless of race religion sexuality etc etc
but why do the same folk who would happily wipe out muslims get offended if you remind them their views are no better than that of nazi's

All these guys ever want is to sleep with these girls? I think it's dumb... Guys should pay attention to what the girls think. Not what they look like. And these girls need a new sense of value because, obviously, for them to be wearing those baby gap outfits, they must not really care about themselves... I'm ashamed to be part of this failing generation.

I just read this answer. I usually never comment on other peole answers but this one shocked me.


Do people think so little of God and of women that they would say something like this?

God is always in control. I think that it would make his job easier, though, if you were to get married. That way your husband could mkae those decisions. The Lord has direct communication with men that he can't have with women because women are irrational. If you were married, you would never have to make a decision, which would keep you pure and innocent- just as women should be

How wonderful was the timing of the Stonewall Riots and why did the rebellion against a police action became a landmark in a civil rights struggle?

I hope that most of the LBGTQQIA community know what the Stonewall Riots were. If you have no idea what they were, please don't answer.

I think it is pretty obvious that us progressive liberals are the smartest and know how best to run a country. Unfortunatley, there are more barbarian red neck hicks out there who can out vote us. It's pathetic. If a progressive liberal were president, there would be no terrorism because we wouldn't have invaded afganistan or iraq. There would be no crime because these criminals are only acting out against republican harrassment. The world would be a beautiful place.

I almost said that I was gay when one of my friends was asking about is there any gay or bi girls that my male friend knew of. I was totally scared and really sad and I felt choked up on the inside. I was being a complete pu**y by not coming out and saying it. But I can't and I don't know why. People seem to assume I'm srt. Just because I hang out with some boys. Can anyone help me?

Today is the fifth of November...and freakishly I saw the movie "V for Vendetta" again, a year after it was released. My question is are we willing to do something about all of this. Ironically, everything in the movie is becoming a reality with the passing day. Federal agents pull out a 14-year old from her classes to question her about her myspace comment about he she hates Bush. The state of California announced yesterday that elementary school kids will be fingerprinted. The kids I am sure are a very big threat to national secutiry. And England has just been declared the most spied on nation in the world. England has the biggest closed circuit monitoring system in the world. Biometric systems are being integrated for things like passports. England is the closest thing to a Big Brother society that we have today.

What do you have to say? I would love to hear from some English people.

I am posting this in several categories because I want to get a range of responses.
