I almost said that I was gay when one of my friends was asking about is there any gay or bi girls that my male friend knew of. I was totally scared and really sad and I felt choked up on the inside. I was being a complete pu**y by not coming out and saying it. But I can't and I don't know why. People seem to assume I'm srt. Just because I hang out with some boys. Can anyone help me?

I have only had one person "come out" to me. He told us straight, and we all said "Yeah, we guessed that when we saw you with your boyfriend". I think he was quite dissapointed.

Well, keep in mind that they might already know. It's hard to keep things like that from best friends. I would start with just your closest friend. When the two of you have some time together, tell them that you want to confide in them, that they are your closest friend. Then just tell them. See how they feel, what their reaction is. If their reaction is good, or if they already suspected it, then your can go about telling others in the same way. If their reaction isn't the best, ask them to keep it on the down low for now and wait awhile to tell others. Either way, if they are your best friend, they should be fine with it.

Just wait until she brings it up. My friends kinda figured it out when I was bringing home other girls all the time. Finally they just asked. So then I said yeah I am. There is no rush to tell them, because things will change. You might not notice at first, but they will change.

Seriously, this is not easy...I have seen some of my best friends totally stop being Friends with people who have come out...and it is sad and wrong...nothing has changed. My friend stated" well..what do we talk about?". my reply was, the same thing as before...i would hope all your conversation does not revolve around sex.

well honey I'd tell you to make reservations for a nice dinner and take her out and explain it all too her...but I think you might have a nervous breakdown waiting for that date....so Just Tell Her...get it out, get it overwith and then move on from there...once you say it...it's done...

1st come out only when YOU are ready, not your friends, not guilt, or anything else.#2 tell your friend that you have something to tell them, make it clear that you trust them and their thoughts, and make it clear that you are not interested in your best friend(unless you are then it gets harder) if they rebuff you, you know this is not your "best friend"

Tell her you love her and want her to know that she is an amazing friend and that you are different and she should already know that you are attracted to women
