wouldnt that be a horrible reflection on god? i mean think about theres so much war, plague, hunger, meth + prostitution, corruption, disrespect everywhere. for people who believe this wouldnt this mean that having faith in god isnt smart since he could be corrupt like his image. i mean its not like hes exactly tried to help the problems either if you take a look around

We were CREATED in His image.....our actions are the result of the fact that we are born of sinners, and when we become old enough to make choices, we CHOOSE to sin.....that's not God's fault. OH! If only you understood what a true gift free will is, and why He LONGS for us to choose Him, that He might remake us......

We are made in God's image.People reject that image. thru Jesus a sanctifacation process occurs. its a persons choice whether they will accept the gift of salvation..God gave us free will. just like when people choose to be corrupt, or choose to seduce women into selling their bodies. God does not want us to be this way but what do you expect the world to look like when people serve themselves and not God.Just like if a child grows up to be a parasaite of soceity that doesn't man the parents did everything wrong. At some point people have to be responsible for their actions and not blame God for every bad thing that occurs, God will not force you to be a "good" person., and if you choose to do what is wrong and not right that has no bearing on His Holy nature.

i am amazed at the amount of people out there who take one sentence from the bible and turn it into a debate as to why not to believe in a higher power, god, Jehovah, or what ever you want, but if you spend just a little time reading some of what you are against, you may have a different perspective of things. we were made in the image of god. we were given a soul, breathed into us by god we were never meant to suffer or die. but we were given the choice, called free will. Adam and eve chose to disobey god.from that point on we were no longer innocent, we knew good and evil and we have been exercising our right to make bad choices ever since.

The things you mention are those things that come from the exercise of free will. When people make bad desicions and take bad actions, that reflects on their ability to do so. The only thing it says about God is that He loves us so much that He allows us to exercise the gift of free will.

Think for a moment how joyous it is when a person comes to know the love and mercy of the one true God, and accepts salvation thru His Son, Jesus. How joyous it is to be able to turn away from the many false gods and to seek the truth.

Saying that human beings were created "in the image of God" isn't the same as saying that we are the same as God, only that some of the attributes which make us human are reflections of some of the attributes of God. It's an irony that the same freedom of choice which is a reflection of God has allowed the choices which led to the extrangement of humanity from God.

Just as a footnote, the passage that says "Man" was created in the image of God says "male and female He created them". The image of God includes both male and female attributes.

We were made in God's image and soon, those will prevail and forever be on the earth.

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Just because we were made in God image does not mean that we are good reflections. we through our choices manipulate the mirror that God is reflected in. Bad/warped choices create a warped mirror. refusal to clean the mirror make the immage fuzzy or blurred. God's perfect image is still there it is our distortion that keeps people from seing what God truly looks like.

How ought to we be made in His photograph if He have been male or female? that should point that 0.5 the inhabitants replaced into no longer in His photograph. we are in His photograph in terms of psychology, capacity, and factors. case in point, right here is how the Trinity breaks down in human beings: Father = recommendations, Son = physique and Holy Ghost = soul. So, we are 3 in one, basically like Him. different factors of God additionally appear in our lives. Now that Adam has been chop up in 2 (to make Eve), those factors additionally are chop up between us. Adam have been given God's potential and righteous indignation while Eve have been given God's attractiveness and ability for unconditional love. this is to no longer say that one intercourse has basically those characteristics. this is obvious that each and every intercourse has a number of each and every thing, regardless of if it is likewise sparkling that one will excel at some characteristics and not a lot at others. We additionally exhibit God's capacity, yet this you'll basically be achieved by using team artwork. at the same time, human beings create mild, see the different fringe of the worldwide, stamp out illnesses and fly to the moon. As we proceed to apply the brains God gave us, we are able to push extra into area and different undiscovered international places.

Kind of a pointless question, if you accept the biblical concept that we are "made in god's image", then you also have to accept the whole scenario where adam and eve lived in a utopia (eden) until they ate the forbidden fruit, obviously this implies that any imperfection is not a reflection on god but instead satan as the the adam and eve "god created in his image" were perfect.

We were created in God's image but we were also created to have a free will and man has sinned. Since then God's image has been tainted in man but it can still be seen. We are capable of being creative.

And in refrence to His doing nothing, He died for us - that by accepting His sacrifice for our sins we might live with Him forever - Free from the pain and suffering of this world.
