i speak as a former muslim,
when muhommed visited his adopted son's home he was out and his wife zinab met him and muhommed fell in love with her. down came a revelation from Allah telling muhommed marry her. so his adopted son divorced her and mo married her.
what this cunning old sod mo wanted was to have sex with zinab and so he used Allah's name.
to you thinking people i ask, do you believe in such crappy lies that muhommed made up just because he wanted to sleep with women?

(politely) when you have a lot of bags and your dog & your handbag, etc. coming back from the store (and you are trying to re-arrange things) that you'll hold the door, but they so insist, (makes me mad) even though you've told them thanks, I got it and they stay there, (we both end up holding it, I guess out of nervousness, not knowing what to do) and end up looking like a jerk, what would you do ?

It has been documented several times that the people Hinn claims to heal by touching them on the forehead are paid set-ups. How is it then that he can continue to draw people to his crusades?
Please, no Christian babble or witnessing, give me a well-thoughtout answer based on facts and not feelings. Also, do not tell me he's the target of the devil to bring his ministery down.His deceptions are a matter of public record. I want to know how people get around this fact and continue to believe this obvious fraud.
I'm not trying to pick a fight, I genuinely want real, rational ansers so I can try and understand the believer's mindset.

I'm a 16 year old straight girl and I think I'm falling for one of my closest friends who is definitely gay. It's me, ted haggard, the latest TV hypocrite. Doesn't this kind of thing effect your belief system. Maybe we're just animals. Stealing, raping, murdering, greedy, animals. Why would a god exist, good and bad are in your head. You define them or let other people do it.
Would you let someone like ted haggard tell you what right and wrong are? Think for yourself. The bible says hold your own council, that's wisdom, but not the one truth. Here we are looking over our shoulders afraid someone might take something that belongs to us. Yeah were in the land of the lucky. I know I'm not making any sense. This thing on the boob tube made me chuckle, something about americans and freedom. We're what freedom is all about. We hold the candle that is freedom. Freedom's easy to have when there is enough "stuff" to go around. How could there be freedom where there isn't the economy for a greedy person to be rich. They have to steal from someone, so the poor must suffer. It's survival of the fittest.

I respect Christianity. But i am not christian. But i always wonder about something. Some Christians say they Jesus is the son of God then why Virgin Mary is not the wife of God? Some christians say we are all children of God then who is our mom? If we are all children then why Jesus is special son?
