are you sure they are Christians?

The bible says no man knows the day or hour so if a christian says that they should do a bit more reading. The mayans however believe that "the path way lights up" between earth and the tree of life allowing their god to walk over. His presence is beyond what any of us could exhist in so we all vanish as if to have never been. Astronomy shows the tree of life constelation aligning with a very strong gravitational field creating "the path" at the head of the tree of life is believed to be a polsar. theoretical this field draws in either the antimatter of electrons being shot out from this pulsar and well, lets say for a lack of a worse description, we all vanish. It'll be like we never were here. If its antimatter, well, we dont know exactly what will happen aside from the distruction of all matter as we know it. if its electrons then they will be in a large enough quantity and with enough enertia to break threw our protecting magnetic field and disassemble our atoms.

That is not a Christian but a Mayan concept.

The Mayan long count calendar which starts in 3188 BCE and is a 5200 year cycle ends in December 2012.

To the mayans, this was the End of TIME and not the end of Times as in the end of the World. It is also the time when TIME would cease to be a "dimension" (the fourth)along with the three dimensions of Space (length, width, height). That misconception of TIME is just one hundred years old and has basically kept an "old boys" network of scientists who got caught into believing that because Einstein's theory of Relativity mathematically allowed "Time Travel" that it must be a "physical" reality.

Time according to most mystics is an "illusion" or at best is a "tape measure" to count seconds, minutes, hours etc...much as a ruler measures inches, feet, miles etc.... We don't say that there are three dimensions of space and the fourth is "the Ruler". Why do we say, there are three dimensions of space and the fourth is "the clock" or TIME. The fourth dimension of space is what James Clerk Maxwell (Electromagnetic theory) was talking about with his n....dimensions. (n= any number you chose). See a short poem of Maxwell below. Maxwell was forced to bastardize his equations from "quaternion" algebra to "vector" algebra because it was too "complicated" for the "engineers' of his day...It is now re-surfacing thanks to the computer graphics revolution and the "space program".

He wrote poems so as to get his ideas out to the common person...Research the Seal of Solomon (Star of David) etc..and Cubic Surfaces, or Ruled surfaces, for some amazing "graphics" of higher mathematics...We can now see them thanks to computers....

For your lack of information, 2012 is the last date on the Mayan calendar.. it is not a christian thing... many people are aware of this date, as you should be also.. as well as what is meant by it.

The Bible says that "No one knows the day or the hour, not even the Son"... so, anyone claiming to know is calling God a liar...
