I'm a 16 year old straight girl and I think I'm falling for one of my closest friends who is definitely gay. He hugs, kisses me (on the cheek), and also tells me he loves me just about everyday so it's that much harder to get over my feelings for him. I know he'll never love me back the same way...so what should i do?

You can love someone in a non-sexual relationship. Friendships usually last longer than relationships, and you should accept your friend for who he is. Your friend does love you, but he is just attracted sexually to guys. Even though you are close to your friend, it is time to start looking at the straight guys who could be interested in you.

unless you're confident you can curl his toes leave things as they are
his terms of endearment should tell you that you're perfect for him just the way you are and that's all he needs from you right now
if you take it to another level you could lose it all
ask yourself...is it worth it?
trust me his lifestyle alone will eventually bring him more problems than your lifestyle will as his is not widely accepted
when that time comes and he needs his closest friend - be there just as you always have been
remember if you're as close as you say and should the time come when he feels like exploring if you stay true, he'll turn to you first
just be gentle :)

tell him you adore him greater suitable than a chum greater suitable than something and im sixteen believe me fantastically much each and all the time we fall for our terrific friends (opp. intercourse) its because of the fact we get to comprehend them so nicely, and we adore each and every thing approximately them, thats why we are terrific friends jus tell himm then if he's a sturdy guy, he will comprehend what to declare/do , no longer hurting you

I would let him know you find him attractive, but don't expect anything to come out of it. Have a sense of humor about it and get it out in the open. The better you get to know him, the more you'll see him as the FRIEND that he is.

Sweety, you need to detach yourself from him. Give each other space. Instead of spending time, avoid him. Take to him as rarely as you can. Take time off. Cry if you need to. And when your ready to spend time with him and your feelings arent such a big deal your ready to date and face the world!

Smile and remember to take it slow.

Its painful,so painful.......but if there is no ending for it,you know it.
But its better to end it now than dragging it all along, you don't want this to ruin your friendship with him. That would be a thousand times more painful!!!End it now
