what is the big deal between 'black and white people'?

why do some people critisise the colour you are (black or white)
they both have equal rights and have just as much reason to be on this earth as you do

You are so very right.

I don't see the big deal. I pick friends and surround myself with people who have good morals and character and are, in general, lovely, good people. I don't care if they are black, white, or green with purple polka dots.

Every race and culture has their losers. I just ignore them, because they don't represent the rest of the people =)

The answer simply is that people are stupid. Why else would something like the color of ones skin cause people to criticize others. Especially since none of us have control over the shade we are born with. Stupidity is a dangerous thing.

They are truly just silly ratbags who criticise people because of their skin
if a person is nice it has nothing to do with skin or race etc
no human is better than the next if they are good people.
but I would say most people are not like that
it just seems that way
i think there are more good caring people in the world

people seem to critisise what they do not know or understand. I am in a biracial relationship. I did not relize the extent of predjudice untill we met. I pray one day there will be one race. Produced from many biracial couples.

I got both at my work and they seem to be ok. I think blacks may have a bad rap because majority are not doing so well financially. Things will settle down some when wealth is distributed more evenly.
