It's me, ted haggard, the latest TV hypocrite. Doesn't this kind of thing effect your belief system. Maybe we're just animals. Stealing, raping, murdering, greedy, animals. Why would a god exist, good and bad are in your head. You define them or let other people do it.
Would you let someone like ted haggard tell you what right and wrong are? Think for yourself. The bible says hold your own council, that's wisdom, but not the one truth. Here we are looking over our shoulders afraid someone might take something that belongs to us. Yeah were in the land of the lucky. I know I'm not making any sense. This thing on the boob tube made me chuckle, something about americans and freedom. We're what freedom is all about. We hold the candle that is freedom. Freedom's easy to have when there is enough "stuff" to go around. How could there be freedom where there isn't the economy for a greedy person to be rich. They have to steal from someone, so the poor must suffer. It's survival of the fittest.

Ever wonder why so many people vehemenently criticize Christians here on Yahoo! Answers and Elsewhere??---It is because of the HYPOCRISY they have seen US do.

Think about it---we all saw the long-term high televised scandals involving Preists and Parishoners in the Catholic Church

--Remember Rev. Jesse Jackson's scandal with his illegitimate relationship with a woman (other than his own Wife)

---Recently--Rev. Haggard--a preacher at a megachurch has had to resign because of his own sexual scandal

---Former Pres. Bill Clinton, a Christian man, had affairs with Monica Lewinsky

---Pres. Bush, a man who claims to be a "born again Christian" does not shed tears or feel remorse for innocent human beings (especially of Middle Eastern heritage) who are being killed in the line of fire

---AND even in our own Churches at home, there is corruption no matter which denomination

Why bother promoting Christianity if we ourselves cannot be Christ-like?


We may say, "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God"---but there is NOWHERE in the Bible that says God will condone Hyprocrisy.

There have been reports of counterfeit $20 bills that are in circulation. I wonder how many of you that are complaining of this will now throw away ALL of your money because someone has counterfeited it.

The Bible tells us there will be tares planted with the wheat...that their will be counterfeits in the church. My suggestion...do not let a hypocrite stand between you and God...if you do, remember who is closer.

Personally, I do not know much about Haggard...but I do know that many of those that someone mentioned here already do not tell about the gospel of Jesus Christ because they spend their time talking only about social issues. The gospel tells us that we are all sinners and that we need a Savior. We do not need social programs to make us feel better...

I also noticed that Haggard's church took prompt action to remove him from leadership with is the Biblical way to do things..I also pray that they are working toward helping him to see the need to repent

YOU are accountable to do what GOD wants YOU to do....not for what anyone else does or does not do.

I only go to Churchs where there is Dancing, Chanting, Singing, Drumming, and Goddess Worship.
I also Believe that Gays and Lesbians should have the right to get Married. The don't have to have the blessing of God, or the Pope to do this, but it shouldn't be banned by the government. Like Prohibition, are we going to have one admendment banning same sex marriage, and then another stating in 50 years, that the people running the goverment were ignorant and then allowing people to just love and care for people that they fall in love with. Don't look at it as two females, or two men, but as two people that have fallen in love with each other and want to get married....Long live love.

properly, perchance so. regrettably maximum seminaries on the instant finally end up ministers-or counselors and not often none are turning out "preachers". relatively the "substantial element" for a Pastor is to evangelise. maximum can no longer. If the pastor can no longer pontificate-then church service will become social activities-yielding un-converted lives.

so i dont get it what is your question, If God wanted homos to be able to be together he would have told us that is ok, but in the bible God clearly states that this type of behavior is unacceptable.
