the asker said that she didn't like hearing it UNLESS an African American said it (she was African American). I never understood this, why is it offensive to African American's if someone OTHER than an African American uses the "N" word? Personally I think that the "N" word should be offensive NO MATTER WHO uses it. I think it's an ugly word!

The clothing is in good condition and of good designers I get upset knowing that when some clothing is "donated" it is actually sold to the public. I want to know that the clothing I am donating from my grandparents is going to men and women who are in great need of clothing.

I am in a relationship with a woman. One day we will have a child. I have no doubt that the child will be raised in the best possible way, and I am not concerned as to undue influences which the child will be subjected to. (I was raised by a single parent and had many many influences on my life to get me to where I am now). I am only asking others to share their experiences with this. I am fully aware that society does not create the best environment for any child to be born into and would love to hear others experiences - either being same sex parents, or the child of same sex parents. All I can find whilst searching through past questions is should gay parents be allowed to adopt or the wrongs of gay parenting - so any positive feedback would be much appreciated :)

I just Looked at a Non-Christian Site where this Woman said that "when a Person sends out Negative Energy, they open themselves up for attack--Negative Energy comes Back to them--sometimes they don't Realize this and Stay in the Loop a Long Time.

Dont you love it when people resort to the tired "its out of context man!". Its a pat response for everything..."out of context!!!".

Ask yourself what possible "good context" there could be and what possible good purpose could this verse have?

First, nowhere in this chapter (Surah) does it ever lead anyone to believe that murdering pagans for sport, was only for Muhammad's day, and not today. But even if it did make some temporal reference, dont you stil get the same gist, that pagans should be killed!

As many times as I read this, I don't get it. I find it very poetic at times. Who are what is the duaghter of Zion? Isn't Zion a city? What about the walls of the daughter of Zion? It also speaks of the virgin daughter of Jeruselum.. There has to be someone out there smarter than I am..

We're hosting a Christmas Eve party this year on a limited budget. Any ideas for decorations, games, food, etc? We've never hosted a formal party before and both of our families are coming together for this one! We have a small tree and decorations for it, but not much else at this point.
