I really seek and value brothership. I guess it has to do with the fact that I never had a brother...just 2 sisters...I dunno. Seems nowadays, two guys can barely hang out together without being assumed gay.

Hmm...maybe I should've rephrased the details...I don't really care what other people think of it so much...Mainly just the individual dudes i'm friends with. I am not shallow like that, honestly.

Not weird at all.

In places where folks do not have sexuality hang-ups, VERY close male bonding is the norm rather than the exception.

LOL it is practical too - at 2am is it going to be a girlfriend or a male friend who will be propping up the bar with you while you discuss the importance of life's mysteries..... "kebab or chinese when we leave here?"

It is a pity folks make assumptions - but if you are able to rise above it - and your friends don't give a toss either, then just enjoy your male friendships and "sod 'em" to the people who would raise an eyebrow :)

Unless the two of you are running off and playing with one another in dark alleys... then there is NOTHING wrong with having bloke friends.
Go find a pub, get a drink and play pool!
Jeez! The whole world is so worried about what 'other people think'.

Nothing wrong with having friends!! Don't be like the masses, be yourself. I think straight girls like the mystery of trying to figure out if a guy is gay or straight. Keep close to your friends and be happy!

Yes.

Now, seriously. It's no big deal. A lot of guys are like that. Let people think what they want. What they think doesn't affect you. And if you matter to them at all, it won't be a big deal with them. It doesn't make you wierd in any way.

There's a lot of truth to what you're saying.....but remember, you've got a really good friend there.

Don't worry about what others think or say...cherish your friendship! There's a reason why you're buddies.

Congratulations!

Listen your not weird. It's good to have that feeling, it doesn't make you gay you just like the friendship of men. Alot of str8 guys are like that. Like you said it's brothership, it doesn't have to be sexual.

you are not weird, it's normal to have close male friends. it's a shame that people always want to mess with other people's relationship and friendships. don't worry what anyone else says.

not at all most men enjoy the company of other men, and what's wrong with someone thinking you and your friend are Gay, who cares there is nothing wrong with being Gay, right.
