Well, that is something you must decide for yourself

Everyone is forced to conclude that there has always been something in existence, whether it be gas, God or a full-blown universe. Every physical thing we have ever observed tends to degenerate. There is even a scientific law - the second law of thermodynamics - that states this. So whatever has always existed must be radically different from anything we have ever seen - like God, for instance.

Religious people argue that, although they cannot prove that god exists, atheists cannot prove that god does not exist. This argument is inherently faulty.

It is logically impossible to prove that an object or event does not exist. However, it is the essence and the backbone of science to provide evidence that something does exist. If something exists, such as energy, matter or space, it manifests itself to us by objective evidence. We can measure such manifestations.

Only persons, who do not utilize logic, will accept as true statements that are completely unsupported by factual evidence. Yet, this form of irrationality and lack of fundamental logic is the foundation of all religions. Since approximately 80 % of the world population accepts the completely unsubstantiated statements of various religions, 80 % of the world population suffers from a severely distorted and thus ineffective worldview.

Are there sound reasons for believing in God?

Ps. 19:1: "The heavens are declaring the glory of God; and of the work of his hands the expanse is telling."

Ps. 104:24: "How many your works are, O Jehovah! All of them in wisdom you have made. The earth is full of your productions."

Rom. 1:20: "His invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world's creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made."

New Scientist magazine said: "The lay view persists-of scientists having 'disproved' religion. It is a view that commonly expects scientists to be nonbelievers; that Darwin put the last nails in God's coffin; and that a succession of scientific and technological innovations since have ruled out the possibility of any resurrection. It is a view that is wildly wrong."-May 26, 1977, p. 478.

A member of the French Academy of Sciences stated: "Natural order was not invented by the human mind or set up by certain perceptive powers. . . . The existence of order presupposes the existence of organizing intelligence. Such intelligence can be none other than God's."-Dieu existe? Oui (Paris, 1979), Christian Chabanis, quoting Pierre-Paul Grassé, p. 94.

Scientists have identified over 100 chemical elements. Their atomic structure displays an intricate mathematical interrelationship of the elements. The periodic table points to obvious design. Such amazing design could not possibly be accidental, a product of chance.

Illustration: When we see a camera, a radio, or a computer, we readily acknowledge that it must have been produced by an intelligent designer. Would it be reasonable, then, to say that far more complex things-the eye, the ear, and the human brain-did not originate with an intelligent Designer?

If God is eternal and was not 'created', then he must have been around for an infinite amount of time before Earth showed up. If so, technically speaking we can't possibly exist yet because an infinity cannot pass.

An eternal god cannot exist in the same universe as anything that clearly had a beginning.

Your question is exactly the title of a huge book on the subject by noted Catholic theologian Hans Kung. After examining the matter in excruciating detail, he concludes (and I agree) that there is no way to tell: the existence, or non-existence, of god cannot be established by logic or evidence. (Not surprisingly -- he is, after all, a priest -- he chooses the affirmative.) That being the case, it can be proved that there is no utility in believing either way: since neither view is refutable, it follows (from a theorem I have proved) that neither view can be used to predict anything -- both are useless. Consequently, I choose to keep life simple by assuming the negative, which is in fact the only view that is compatible with scientific inquiry.

God exist just as you exist. Without God you would not be here. Mankind would never existed. Their would be no Universe. Our little brains can't even comprehend nothingness. A void is still something, yet before God created it, there was nothing.

Yes

It depends on how you define divinity. I see no separation between God and man, so naturally, God exists. To deny God's existence, by that extension, is to deny your own existence.

Of course, Einstein already proved that all reality is an illusion, so ironically, the answer to your question is 'no'

Go figure ;)

If by God you mean the natural laws of the Universe, then yes surly this God exist but this God is emotionally unsatisfying, it does not make much sense to pray to the law of gravity.

Yes, God does exist. It is not a question you must answer for yourself, it is a fact. You may chose to not believe it, but that does not make it any less true.
