Before you judge, consider that they may have young children who want to trick or treat, too, and are out with them...

Many people try to leave out candy when they go with their children (my mom did when we were young) it only takes one a** to dump the whole thing in his bag...

Or

consider there could have been an emergency, or maybe they work late. The world doesn't stop for greedy little kids. At least they tried to make the house look cool.

Think that's rude? I have my lights off, and the little jerks still bang on the doors and windows. I am going to go turn the hose on them.

I definitely agree. This lures trick or treaters into believing that candy is being passed out at this house! What is the purpose? If I were to decided to not pass out candy, then I would turn off the lights to my decorations, why trick people-especially kids?

Yeah, why bother with all the other stuff, when you aren't going to pass out candy. I bet the kids got all hyped up with the decorations just to be let down.

Hard to believe that someone would go to all that trouble to decorate as though to invite all for the holiday....and then not give out candy....not nice at all. Soap their windows!

Sounds stupid to me one would think that house would have the best candy...But they probably spent all there money on the decorations and then could not afford the candy..ya think???

ummm, maybe they have kids and are out with them, or got sucked into having to work. Rude no - disappointment - yes. They were probably too broke on decorations to buy any candy....

Spent too much money on the tacky knick-knacks which seems a tad ostentatious and cheap at the same time.
