My encounter was in 1995 while at work. Big dark shadow came over by my work station and as I looked up there was nothing causing the shadow. Later that night I got into a very bad accident & ended up in the Hospital for about three weeks. That was freaky to me, becuase there is no way something could have cuased the shadow. Untill this day I have thought about the shadow that was cast over me that day and no way to explain what caused it.

He waits till the night before to ask me to come out with a Halloween costume! He says I'm crafty and he'll be happy with whatever I come up with. He works at an office so it has to be something he can wear over his buissness-y clothes and he likes costumes that have a pun to them (last year he was a "cereal killer" with plastic knives through cereal boxes taped to his shirt and fake blood).
What should I make my dad for Halloween? Suggestions, please.

When people say that they will pray for you, do they actually follow through? I just wondered because a lot of people tell me that they're praying for me and God just doesn't seem to be pulling through. Either that or he hates me.
Are these people saying that they'll pray for me to be polite or are they actually doing it?
When people offer their support to others by saying, "I'll pray for you," do they really mean it or are they being polite (or simply offering comfort and sympathy)?

If you truly loved someone would you let them be born knowing they would go to hell?
The free will cop out doesn't work because he is all knowing and knows what your choice will be! If he truely loved all people than he should only let those be born that he knows will choose his way and end up in heaven, not an everlasting fire!
Or maybe he isn't all knowing OR all loving after all...

My god, Australians are so unpatriotic, unless it's the Ashes series, or we're in the World Cup... When 9/11 happened, everyone was saying God Bless America, and now they want to take the "under god" out of the pledge. Goodness! Has everyone forgotten about what good God has done the United States! And I'm speaking in general to. A whole lot of people are complacent and don't even think about God until they lose everything through something like Katrina, or the tsunami. People simply don't need a truth when they have the whole world under them huh? I really find it sad that it takes a catastrophe to turn people to God or make them contemplate about it more. If you try to tell a rich atheist who lives in a mansion about Jesus, it can be the hardest thing in the world. Take the same message to a hobo who doesn't even have a home, and they accept the truth much more easily.
