i used to be haunted, i think. the most obvious thing was that stuff in my bedroom and around me would just move. i thought i was going nuts until my friend was right there one time, and we both literally watched a belt move slowly across the top of my dresser and then we just stared at each other and we were like "did you just see what i just saw?". it was the creepiest two months of my life.

I do NOT believe in the supernatural. I do NOT believe people can talk with the dead. I do NOT believe seeing a black cat forcasts bad luck, nor walking under a ladder or stepping on a crack will break my mother's back. However, illogically as it may seem based on what I do not believe, I have a belief on God. It comes down to faith, a belief in spite of no concrete proof either way. In the case of the supernatural, there is no proof either way., the same as with God. So, it comes down to your faith. If you believe, then it may be so, if you do not as I, then it isn't so. Simple. in theory, hard in practice. Houdini gained stature by debunking fake psychics, but he never stopped believing someone could talk with the dead. The same applies to me, I believe it possible, but so far no one has showed absolute proof. Proof is something which can be repeated at will under any condition, and so far, no one can repeat a performance at will in a controlled condition. So, I do not believe your black cloud, the shadow, was a fortelling of bad luck, but also, I would not say it is impossible either.. I think the liklihood is remote that this was a supernatural event. I believe you think you saw something, but was it real or imagined in your mind? In your case, proof would simply be someone else seeing the same black cloud, the shadow, who has no vested interest in the outcome.
No matter how much I would like to talk with my dead parents, I am not about to pay John Edwards money until he shows me proof he actually does what he says he does. Show me proof, something I can verify through an independent 3rd party, and I will be first in line and I will bring my friends...

My husband had knives thrown at him by something he couldn't see. When he said out loud he would not move from the apartment he was living in. But the thing that happened to me was when I was in Job Corps. My room was a few floors over what was at one time a pool. Well back in the days a girl was drowned in the pool on prom night (The Job Corps center was once an old high school). one Saturday in MAy of that year all of us girls woke up and there was wet foot steps on our floor, the footsteps led out into and down the hall. The guys who stayed in the room below us said they were woken up by a girl wearing a wet white formal dress and they too had a wet floor in the morning. We didn't know about the girl in white until after that experience when we went to our resident advisors and said somethign about it.
