You know, someone to follow you around, someone to talk with even though you can't see them, someone to cry with when you feel all alone, someone to blame for not stopping at that red light, or who gave you that really bad haircut with the safety scissors?

I'd have chosen a better name though... like maybe Herman, or Fred, or Bo-Bo.

Some of my neighbors do not celebrate the holiday of Halloween because of religious reasons. Now clearly this is their choice, and I respect that, but why am I made to feel like an outcast every Oct 31st when I decorate my house and give candy to the kids who come to my door?

I can see good and evil in all things. From a ant on the groud to a bowel you use every day. I smile and feel the worlds pain as ever day goes on. I seek and try to help peopel taht needs a little joy in their lives.I live in nothing but darkness so my will be hideen. I see art in evrything. Art isnt jsut in a musem you know. Art is every were from a tea cup to a baby. I dont like weopons at all. I dont see the need for vilance at all. I look the good in everything but see theevil in all things. Is this a Goth?

I have had SEVERAL conversations with different christains about the bible and EVERYTIME i got a different translation of what they perceive the bible to be saying. If christains cant even come to a consensus about what the bible is saying, then why should I believe ANY of what they say?

I am currently seeking employment, I have been actively seeking employment for about 3-4 months now. I have applied to roughly 15 different places, just about the only places that are hiring around where i live, and I have not heard a thing from any of them. Wait, I'm incorrect, I heard something from one place in a post card saying that the have my file on file, which is basically insinuating a no. So should I be angry about this, because frankly I am.

My bud and I have a true "brokeback moutain" relationship. Its very special and we have a strong bond. We both have two different backgrounds. I'm like Jack and he Ennis emotionally. He's an asipring artist, and I am into business. Were in our 20's and he chose to move to Europe. He asked me if I want to go, I said sure I want to be close to him, but things changed when I got accepted for a masters program at a business school in the US. I decided to stay and finish up. Now I feel like 2 years of school seems to be a long time, I hurt everynight thinking about losing him. It was a choice of my future or the "rare, weird" feelings we both have for each other. So my question to you is, did I pick the right path here? Was I right to choose my future over my heart?

My grandparents are fairly extreme about their religion. I have had debates with them where they say that if I don't believe in Jesus as my savior then I am going to hell. I retort with, "What about people that don't know about Jesus?" They say that they are going to hell. Well, what about people that have Alzheimer's? What if they can't remember who Jesus is? What if they think that their kids name is Jesus? Is that blasphemous? Are they going to hell? It is my understanding that in Evangelical Protestantism one must believe Jesus to be the Messiah. I don't think I like this God.

I have to start at the basics, and that's God. And the thing that I think you have to say about God first is that nobody knows who God is, nobody knows what God is. I don't care what they say--all any human being knows is how they believe they have experienced God. They do not know what God is. That would be like a horse saying they know what a human being is. A horse knows how a horse experiences a human being. And even when you say, this is my "God experience," there is always the possibility that you're deluded. And a lot of deluded people think that they have had "God experiences" and hear voices. So I start with that--I can't tell you who God is or what God is; I can only share what I believe my God experience is. My primary theological teacher was Paul Tillich. Tillich defines God not in terms of a being, a supernatural power who lives somewhere outside the world, but as what he calls "the ground of being." If God is the "ground of being" then I worship God by having the courage to be. And if I am faithful in following that God, I try to build a world where other people have the freedom to be who they are. Anything that enhances being would be good, and anything that violates being would be bad.

the truth is the rich upper class men can even get celebrities, indian escort websites claim they can get indian celebrities for one night sex, upon request.

Seems like the 'christians' love going on and on about who is and isn't going to hell. At the same time Jesus hung around with the 'lower class' elements of society. He wasn't hanging out with self-righteous religious fanatics, the rich, or war mongers. If that's the case why do all three of the above (religious, rich, war mongers) feel like they have the right speak for who Jesus would and wouldn't stand up for?
