Please don't answer their questions, they will go away if they don't get the attention. the only reason they come here is for attention if you ignore them they will go away, and "NO", no matter how funny it seems to you it's not right, every time you answer their questions it gives them power. We can't give them power to trash us. Answering any question that they have will only give them power, even if you respond in disagreement or hate. Please don't answer their questions, even if you hate them. That is what brings them back anyone that answers their questions, even one brings them back. Just Say No.

....and what church were they from? Has anyone heard about that? Apparently, some seriously misguided women from some baptist church decided that they would 'boycott' the Amish victims' funeral for some reason. I don't know any more that that. Does anyone know the details?

Hello, i'm a 14 year old asian, relatively fit and attractive, and i was wondering what would be a good costume for halloween? i'm planning to spend a fun night with friends trick or treating and possibly a party afterwards.. i'm looking for something that isn't that fancy, but doesn't make me look like a dork. The reason i added my ethnicity was because it'd be odd to have an asian teen in a michael jackson outfit.. o.O so yeah.. any help would be appreciated.. =] thanks in advance,

-Andrew

EDIT:
ahh i forgot to mention.. i would like to get away from ethnic based costumes.. i.e. samurais and robes.. i was thinking of something more along the lines of a jester or something easygoing.. =]

The majority of Christian and non-Christian religions, believe in a heavenly reward, where immortal life is easy and safe.

One religion believes that there's a resurrection, to everlasting life on Earth, and to spend 1000 years tearing down the vestiges of the old system (buildings, monuments, etc.), than rebuilding Earth into a Paradise.

With the first, life holds no challenges, hard work, and responsibilities. With the second, you use you full mental and physical capabilities, to solve the problems of dismantling what was built to honor man, and create a Paradise to honor God. After that is done, you may go out into the rest of the Universe to create more paradises, so more hard work.

With the first, there no examples of it on Earth. With the second, there are hundreds of examples.

Millions have made the second choice, over the first, in the last 120 years. Would you rather believe in an easy life in Heaven (or the eqivalent of it), or a challenged life on Earth?

History books and the Bible are BOTH translated from Ancient manuscripts. The Bible is just critized because it has the super natural attached.
Historical events cannot be scientifically proven. They are not recreatable nor repeatable.

Sorry I know this is not a question but lets think a little about this people. I know a Christian thinking for herself, hard to believe.

The Tunisian authorities have launched a campaign against the Islamic veil worn by some women to cover their hair.

Police in Tunisia have been stopping women on the streets and asking them to remove their headscarves and sign pledges that they will not go back to wearing them.

Under a ban introduced in 1981, women in Tunisia are not allowed to wear Islamic dress in schools or government offices.

The President, Zine El Abidine Ali, described the headscarf as a sectarian form of dress which had come into Tunisia uninvited. Other officials said Islamic dress was being promoted by extremists who exploited religion for their political ambitions.

I'm fascinated by this, as today, teacher's aren't allowed to raise their voice (it seems) to reprimand a student, unless they want to hear from the student's parent. I witnessed quite a bit of abuse in my grade school, of course back then, teachers were permitted to slap kids around (early 80's). But thinking back, it just seems so barbaric and abusive on an obscene level.

So did you witness a lot of abuse in school? Or were you lucky enough to attend a grade/junior highschool where physical abuse was NOT allowed?

I'm confused. I've been raisied in a chrristian household. I know more about reeligions of all kinds than the average person. But I just don't get hell. Assuming Christianity is true, why hell? It doesn't seem fair to be punished for making the wrong choice. I mean isn't the point of bein punished to learn? It doesn't make sense that a loving God would make an eternal hell. Especially when some people die @ 21 an some people die @ 101. According to such beliefs, once we die, if we've chosen wrong, we're skrewed. There's no way to fix it. Wouldn't any human being fall to his knees in the presence of such a God? On earth theres s much uncertanty, but when all that is stripped away, would not every human repent? And if so, why would such a loving God not show them forgiveness. I mean, we have the chance for ultimater forgiveness on earth, but once dead is that chance over? That doesn't seem fair in any way.

(Please don't answer with anything about the religion being wrong.)
