Personally I don't think so.......the words you speak, the sweetness in your Spirit...the light that shines around you....is much more important then a name. When Jesus asked his own disciples who do you say that I am only one answered "thou are the Son of the living God" and Jesus said " my Father in heaven has revealed this to you only, of all the disciples.So on the road to Damascus did God choose Saul or Paul to spread his word? What is in a name sometimes? Think about it. Ok .God Bless....

I wouldn't assume you were anything by the name Marianne--but I would have wondered if you were American Indian with Greywillowsdaughter for a name...

Not sure. I know my first thought would be of the Disney movie "Alice in Wonderland" when the rabbit shouts "Mariaaaaaaaaane!" But I might be the only one to think that.

No. Some atheist friends gave their daughter that name. Well, the Spanish version, Mariana, because they are from Argentina.

i think you are right. grewillowsdaughter is eerie sounding but marianne is very christian sounding
