The majority of Christian and non-Christian religions, believe in a heavenly reward, where immortal life is easy and safe.

One religion believes that there's a resurrection, to everlasting life on Earth, and to spend 1000 years tearing down the vestiges of the old system (buildings, monuments, etc.), than rebuilding Earth into a Paradise.

With the first, life holds no challenges, hard work, and responsibilities. With the second, you use you full mental and physical capabilities, to solve the problems of dismantling what was built to honor man, and create a Paradise to honor God. After that is done, you may go out into the rest of the Universe to create more paradises, so more hard work.

With the first, there no examples of it on Earth. With the second, there are hundreds of examples.

Millions have made the second choice, over the first, in the last 120 years. Would you rather believe in an easy life in Heaven (or the eqivalent of it), or a challenged life on Earth?

I'd still want the second. It was God's plan all along anyways. Besides, you make it sound so horrible to work. It wont be so bad cause God will be there to help.

This is a priceless jewel most people over look in the New Testament but it's true eternal progression worlds with out end that this groveling sphere is only a start at our lives hopefully to become more and more like our Father.
But you're wrong about only one religion beleiving that.

Pfft. If God wanted a world full of self-aggrandizement, don't you think He'd have made one? You all give God so little credit, as if He couldn't produce EXACTLY what he wanted on the first try.

I have to believe in a simple hate free life in heaven. I have to believe that there is a better place. If not what will be my motivation to live, to love, to help when i am surrounded by war, discrimination and hate

Give me the hard work . I love to work, and I don't think a God would give anyone an eternity of ease.
Personally I think we'll all just be dead.
