When submissive people advertise about being a house slave, do you have to pay them for cleaning? I mean if all it takes is for me to be a dominatrix for free maid service, thats might be something to think about.

If your version of "Heaven" involves mindless sex, drugs, violence, etc... will you ever get into heaven or will you go to hell and enjoy it?

This is a tough question to phrase... let me try again:

If Heaven is a place where there is no lust, addictions, hate, etc... would you rather go there, or to hell, which would be a place where rape and violence reign supreme?

ok, one more time:

is there room for earthly desires in heaven?

and please do not say that there is no heaven because that is not what I am asking.

I thought just struck me earlier while I was meditating on a prayer. It's more popularly known as the prayer of Jabez. I read a book about it and how it has created wonders that changed the world.

I was reminded of a particular movie I once saw for my theology class. I dont remember the title, but it had the tag line, "BUILD IT AND IT WILL COME" and that's exactly what Im doing now.

I enjoy doing volunteer/charity work in orphanages and homes for the elderly whenever i can, but since I belong to a third world nation, funding has always been my problem. I have some friends from the US who help me out, and Im just wondering if there will be others who are willing to help, in their own little way.

We dont really have public libraries here and I was thinking of starting up a children's library and I would need (old) book donations.
Would there be caring people out there who'd be willing to help me out? Im just an individual and I am not affliliated with any foundation.

I've been told by a woman that I very much respect, and who sees/senses auras and is otherwise very knowledgeable in such areas, that my brother and I are both Indigo children. I did some research on a few of the sites that she recommended, and we both seem to fit the characteristics, eerily so. Except for the fact that neither one of us has ever communicated psychicly, which seems to be one of the major defining properties of Indigos. No one in our family had ever heard of Indigos until this lady mentioned them. Could it be possible that we've "turned off" our psychic abilities from not using them, or we're subconsciously ignoring them, or are we just not Indigos at all?

I am in my early 40's and returned to college to finish my graduate studies. I have made a friend whom I really enjoy spending time with; however, she is a lesbian. I have no problem with the fact she is a lesbian---other than I think she is becoming interested in me sexually. Lately, many of our conversations have turned sexual in nature, by her taking them there. This is making me uncomfortable and I have told her so politely; though, she just laughed. I don't want to hurt her, I enjoy our friendship, but I am NOT interested in her sexually. How do I convey this to her without hurting her, our friendship, or, heaven-forbid...have her think I have some hang-up regarding her sexuality?

They tell us who to love.
They tell us who to hate.
What to buy.
They tell us the stories THEY want us to care about.
They don't tell us much about things happening outside the country, which makes us look self-absorbed.

Am I the only one who feels this way?

abolished in the name of "separation of church and state"? Personally, I feel all laws can be traced back to some sort of moral code. Are we in fact leglislating morality by haveing anti-theft and anti-murder laws, for example?

since there are so many religions out there
and that so many of the smaller denominations are dominated by fanatic Terrorists.
it would probably be good to have only a few religions and only a few denominations officially recognized bu the government.

which ones and why. be truthful. and no hate posts.

...then why not come to church and find out for yourself? There are friendly Christian congregations almost everywhere!

Church is about worshipping God, not judging others. No one is perfect, but by God's awesome love and Jesus' resurrection, anyone can be forgiven and healed.

A church fellowship is also about building strong communities, connecting with neighbors, and making new friends. In addition to the usual Sunday-morning worship, most churches offer extra worship services, Bible-study groups, community service, volunteer opportunities, outreach programs and other activities throughout the week.

Won't you join us this Sunday?

Elaborate for me, if you will.

Mine would be when my father and I took a walk in the local National Forest, and he found for me a piece of wood that a beaver had gnawed. I've had that wood for 37 years.

I went to this mall I normally don't go to and there are 4 way stops all over the place and I remember sitting at them waiting for cars to pass while at the same time wondering why the traffic going the other way was sitting there for a while before they would go. I did this at THREE intersections before I realized I was sitting at 4 way stops. A few months later I was reading this book with blonde jokes and one of them said 'What is eternity for a blonde? A four way stop." I felt like such a dumb blonde!!

about the guy who took a tour of both Heaven and Hell? He looked at Hell first and it really didn't look too bad there was the nice furniture and beautiful grounds and everything was really quite nice untill he went into the dinning room and there was a huge big table loaded with all kinds of food except everyone had huge eating utensils that they could not feed themselves with-- they were so large they could not reach their mouth with them so they were dropping food everywhere and cursing and starving so he left there and went to see Heaven --Well everything was exactly the same except with the big silverware in Heaven they feeding each other and everybody was very happy--The End. Do you know a story?
