There is a rare blood disease, I read once that it was the basis for vampire legends. The only vampires I have seen were the movie ones.

I've never seen one outside of the movies. But I do believe they exist. That is if you mean the bloodsucking vampires like Dracula. Most today though are wannabes in the Goth subculture.
There are modern medical explanations for certain traits in the Dracula mythos, however those are very rare occurances. The entire vampire mythos was created as an "explanation" as to the unknown in the Middle Ages when people believed in anything and everything whether it was real or plausible or not. The rising out of the coffin connection came about because people were often buried alive because they were misdiagnosed with the primitive medicine of those days. So people clawed their way out. Most coffins have evidence of such inside. The blood lust aspect is atrributed to Vlad the Impaler, who is said to be the origin of Dracula himself, as well as Erzabet (Elizabeth) Bathory, a female Dracula, who tortured and killed countless young girls because she believed their virgin blood would keep her young and beautiful (she was not attractive by any means if you ever see a picture of her).
But I do believe there are Psi-vampires which drain the life-essence out of people around them. Ever wonder when you're around a certain person or group of people, you feel drained and depressed and you can't figure out why? That's a psi-vampire.

No I don't .Bram stoker really hooked alot of people with this one . I've checked and Vlad tepes the original Dracula was only called Dracula because he was first named so by peasants due to the fact that he belonged to the order of the dracul which was started by a serbian knight named named Milos Obilic' around 1380.I can't see anything about Vlad tepes drinking blood but who knows .Some of the atrocities he committed were shocking to say the least .As for vampires today I know that some people do drink blood .

Yes, and yes. There are different kinds of vampires. There are some people when you are around them that your energy gets drained- they are essence or energy vampires. There are people who also drink blood. I've seen something in an old part of a cemetery once that I'm convinced was a vampire. I'll never go in a cemetery on All Soul's Day (November 1st)again.

Yes I do believe in vampires, but they are"psychic vampires".
I dont know what it is but I have met people that do drink blood for rituals, and they do possess the following traits. Telepathy, Psychic Synchronicity (appearing wherever you are at the strangest times) and an excessive amount of Desirability, where you want to do anything for them, and you think of them constantly! However it only lasts until you actually kiss them...(if your will is stronger than theirs) and or if you get away from them, and have another you truly love. This happened to me, long story and they were a vampire cult....true story!

I think that vampires are not real I do think that they became real in the minds of people in the past because of Watchers also know as "fallen angels" or demons. If I ever seen one I will know it is not real and it is only something that is entertained thoughts of whispers from watchers. I don't think much of it but it can just be a waste of time to even begin to entertained the thought of such nonsense..

i have not see one, yet i position self assurance in them too. once you're truly in touch in them, I recommend you visit Bran fortress in Romania, that's asserted to be once the " homestead of Dracula." And in case you want vampires, then possibly you want ghosts too. once you're ever in England, then visit the Blinkling corridor in Norfolk, the position that's asserted the ghost of Anne Boleyn is. in addition they say the Tower of London is haunted through 2 British princes who went lacking in the mid thirteenth century. wish this answer helps!!!!
