WOULD YOU HELP fund/etablish a children's library in a third world?

I thought just struck me earlier while I was meditating on a prayer. It's more popularly known as the prayer of Jabez. I read a book about it and how it has created wonders that changed the world.

I was reminded of a particular movie I once saw for my theology class. I dont remember the title, but it had the tag line, "BUILD IT AND IT WILL COME" and that's exactly what Im doing now.

I enjoy doing volunteer/charity work in orphanages and homes for the elderly whenever i can, but since I belong to a third world nation, funding has always been my problem. I have some friends from the US who help me out, and Im just wondering if there will be others who are willing to help, in their own little way.

We dont really have public libraries here and I was thinking of starting up a children's library and I would need (old) book donations.
Would there be caring people out there who'd be willing to help me out? Im just an individual and I am not affliliated with any foundation.

I am doing a project similar to the one you are working on. BUT it is here in the states. There are many communities that dont even have libraries.ghettos and Native American communities Most NA communties are very third world and it is my goal to provide them with a simple thing like a library to get them into books rather than out doing drugs or something non productive. I have great passion and hope to get this 20 million dollar projext completed in at least two years. I think helping out locally would be more beneficial. I am glad you have the same passion for helping people as I do.

me again, i don't know where your located. one direction is see if you can give the places you locations a tax write off for sending the books they don't sell to you.especially sense the end of the year in coming and they may like to get a tax break of their own. tax write offs in the US is a big deal even churches love it. even check with any local US ran church groups in your area about your book idea. they may focus on biblical based or at least moral directional books. even make a request for old school books. i home schooled for a year and got most 2nd hand to help teach my kids. if i had the money i would send you the books i no longer need regarding school and young kids books.would have to find out how much. if your really serious about gathering books also contact school groups, state libraries that may have ways to help spread the word around the USA. you should look into having a address to send the books. make a yahoo 360 page on the direction and mailing address directed organizations to your page about the plea for the books. this is my calling to give ideas and ways. i may not have the ability to do these myself , but i love to help where i can you can email me thru my yahoo name
