Should be, yes. Will be, no.
Having overindulged in both I can say that the wacky has less of an effect on your motor skills, judgement and personality than alcohol does. If legalized, it would create a taxable commodity similar to tobacco. This would make alot of money for our government to waste.
Society will not allow the legalization of certain drugs. Our elected leaders will never tackle certain issues; reforming social security (at least until it fails), replacing the IRS, legalization of marijuana. It would be political suicide and politicians won't risk it.

DO WE REALLY WANT TO ADD MORE FUEL TO A FLAME OUT OF CONTROL?
LOOK AT COUNTRIES WHERE IT IS LEGAL,THEY HAVE SO MANY PROBLEMS.
HOW SAD THAT AS THE GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD,WE NEED A LAW ,TELLING US NOT TO BE STUPID.
THE LAWS ARE HERE FOR PROTECTION. TO HELP THE STUPID GET IT.
WE KNOW THE SET BELT LAW- IS TO PROTECT US.

I THINK MOST PEOPLE WITH COMMON SINCE,GET IT.
THE LAW IS FOR THE YOUNG AND THE DUMB.
LOOK AT OLD HIPPIES THAT STILL SMOKE POT ?

to tell you the truth-- ive had drunk drivers scare the sh@# outta me but never had any problems with a pot smoker on the road (lol)
