I am checking my email late last night, when instant messenger pops up, never heard of the person, says they need someone to talk to, depressed. I say ok, whats up? They go on about having an obsession with veins, and cutting them, ask me about my veins, i ask if they mean SELF harming, they say no. Asked me to look at my hand, what do i see, veins?? It made me shiver, some prankster maybe? Said talking about veins, stops them cutting them, said he was male, i exit, quick, wierd???

Sorry, if I’m Hurting you people.
Just few minutes before, I have posted a question regarding Psychologist, Psychiatrist. But I had a spelling mistake in that question. Instead of Psychologist, Psychiatrist, I have typed Sycologist and sycartist. Most of the people have given me very good answers, even though my spelling was wrong. But two of them replied me very harshly.
1.DAMMIT!!!! please learn to spell...how dare you come on here and butcher the beautiful english language this way? if you cant spell english then dammit type in your native language....for those of us who take pride in our language it is an insult when someone dosent take the time to spell it correctly....now a typo is one thing...but this goes way beyond a typo.... this is....oh whats the damn use!
2.You dotheaded mutherfucker. You can't spell can you?
Mistake is natural, and I’m not a person, who using English daily. I’m trying to improve my language skill using this yahoo answer site. You can point out my mistakes. That’s acceptable. But these types of reactions will depress me. What you think?

Y'know how everyone gets religion mixed up and goes to war in its name, well what would happen if we idealogically banned religion if it meant peace, would god be angry with us even though we had created peace?

I read a lot in here about dating. I guess I am way too old fashioned for my own good. When I have in the past asked someone on a date it was not to just go to dinner and casually get to know the person. When I have asked in the past it was strictly to meet and get to know this person with the intent and possiblity of finding a mate/husband.
It seems many date now-a-days just for something to do on a Friday night. They’ll meet you, have dinner, and be friendly but really not want anything more from you other than sex. When you ask someone on a date what are your intention towards them.? How many of ask people on a date with the intentions of only getting a free meal? Have sex? Or both, with no intentions of having anything go any further? Do you really know what you are looking for when you do this? How do you approach dating?

as in a couple should have 2 kids, that way when the mother and father die there isn;t an extra person running around....it was only her opinion, and she in no way thought to try and MAKE people do this, but she raised my brother and I to think the same way. It makes sense to me, in the instance of overpopulation, to only have as many kids as it takes to replace you. What do you guys think?

Selfish, irresponsible, stupid, nasty, disgraceful and disgusting...or OK?

I make sure I tut loudly and stare dirty when I see one, because I think they are the lowest scum on earth. 9 months isn't very long, especially when it's to ensure your child is born without avoidable health problems. "I'm trying to give up" doesn't cut it with me...if you can't give up, you shouldn't be allowed to keep the child....child abuse is illegal, yet when the baby is in the womb and needing as much goodness as possible, it's legal to poison it's living environment, so much so that they are breathing in tar, smoke and crap, before their lungs are even formed!

Pregnant smokers, use this opportunity to sell your side of the story!

People get on my damn nerves. I try to be the nicest most sweetest person yet people are always so rude and disrespectful to me. FOr instance, it's this girl in my Peace Studies class who keeps on being rude and btichy towards me, I never did anything to this girl but be nice to her. And if she says one more rude thing to me I'm going to curse her *** out. And there are these kids on my bus who are always talking bout me. I keep to myself and they just always pick on me and I got really mad and started to yeall and stuff. I hate being nice, why won't people just let me be?

Has anyone tried to improve his/her English with something different from the usual courses created on purpose for them? I don't want one of them (they are simply lessons for lessons, but I already know how to teach, I've done it for more than 25 years!) What I need is simply a way to remember more words and expressions, which I keep forgetting a few minutes after reading them!!!! And I add that I've even written about 30 books in English! Is it only a matter of age or are there any tricks you've tried yourselves and they work? By the way, my native language is Italian but I like English so much I'm frustrated when there's an expression I don't know yet or I keep forgetting and can't use myself.Thank you so much.
