should i be upset that i found them or happy that he is using protection. i know what age we are in but i was hoping and keeping hope alive that he would have waited considering he told me that he hadnt had sex yet with his girlfriend of two years. at least he told me it was his and not blame it on his cousins this time. as a mother i worry about him becoming a father or getting a disease. so my question again is should i be upset at the fact that he started having sex so soon, there is really nothing i can do except tell him again the dangers of aids, getting ol girl pregnant and stds, not like i didnt before. true i was young when i had sex, but i was raped first.

Are people that isolated that they can't see the over-the-top nature of the questions? Some are not seeing bob l's questions as obvious and over-the-top. I once asked a parody question about which parker brothers product - ouija boards, trivial pursuit or monopoly - was the best to contact spirits with (trying to highlight the sillyness of treating ouija boards in that way) and, while most got it, some took my question literally. My husband and I have new neighbors across the street... they haven't officially moved in yet, but, will do so within the next week. Today we introduced ourselves, but, I would like for them to feel welcomed. No one gave my husband and I any type of welcome (i.e. gift basket, etc), but, I wanted to be a different neighbor than the neighbors were to me. The new neighbors are like my husband and I, no kids and married for five years. I would love suggestions on something small I could do from my husband and I to give to the neighbors. I guess I'm asking what's proper etiquette for welcoming people into the community. Thanks for your suggestions!!!!

I was wondering how you woman feel about getting into a relationship with another woman that has kids. Is it a turn off or what are your thoughts.

Whenever I mention the fact that I'm an atheist to other christians, why do they always ask the following question: "Well, how can you believe the universe sprang from nothing?"

Hold up! First of all, the issue of how the universe began has nothing to do with my non-belief in god. I don't believe in any god simply because I have no evidence of "his" existence, no personal experience-nothing! How the universe began is a separate issue altogether.

Just because you don't have an answer for something does not necessarily mean that god did it. Why do so many of you need to have a god-of-the-gaps explanation for everything? Do you still think sickness is caused by evil spirits? Do you think volcanoes erupt due to the volcano god getting angry?
