if u were with a bunch of guys 2 of whom were ur frnds others were their frnds that u just met....... so u come out of the night club and 1 of ur frnds frnds is fighting so ur frnds join in and it becomes huge. now there are some women there who are not fighting but abusing ur frnds, calling them names and tripping them up. obv the lads dont hit women but they are just in the way. 1 of the women comes up to u and starts mouthing off that ur frnds are (racist unrepeatable comment) would u stay and fight with ur frnds or run for ur life??? i stayed and fought. what would u do??? just wondering

Taking to my Muslim step kids about the stories of the Quran some of which I’m vaguely of. In their culture they R required to study the Quran in Arabic (even thought that’s not their native language) 4 at least an hour a day starting at about age 5. I don’t believe in organized religion however I was raised Christian and expected to memorize and recite stories from the Bible around age 7. Most of which was incorrect. I realize these kids are 8-17 & R memorizing things and also have NO IDEA what they’re memorizing. Their 20+ brother witnesses this & tells me that they R required to learn the words of the Quran first without knowing any of the meanings (?!). I asked him to tell me a story & he also drew a blank. Christianity is a troubled and perhaps insane religion. Still, at least young people can tell you the basics of what their holy book is about (Adam and Eve, etc). Is this again the insanity of organized religion rearing its ugly head? If it's not that then what is it?

It's feels like God shares your heart with you, I was filled all day last sunday, before, during, and after Church, and this Church is kinda new for me, I don't know all the people that well, God and I took it upon ourselves to greet everyone at the door.

When filled with the Holy Spirit, what was it for you that you and God done or felt???

Ed is my favorite manager at Safeway. He's a grandfatherly Italian man with a New York accent. I adore him. But yesterday he made a comment that made me a bit uncomfortable. An Asian woman asked me to bag an already bagged item, so I did. After she'd left, Ed said, "Orientals are the most wasteful people in the world. They buy a pack of gum and they want you to bag it. And it's not just her, they're all like that. Orientals are so wasteful." I'm not sure what to do. I love Ed. Is the comment technically racial? Should I maybe talk to the Store Manager about what he said? What should I do?

atheists seem to live normally even without expecting an afterlife, but christians need something so that they can do good? cant they do better with a therapist? although i think a therapist is more expensive "in the short run"... not to mention most christians i know are poor and/or sick(or has a sick relative) and/or old and mosly female, is there a pattern there?

the question was meant for people who converted to christianity. people born in christian families are not included, unless they speak in behalf of their family's history.

of course i know that some of you do good because your life has been changed after knowing jesus but what was your life story?

How much do they make in residency? Is it more or less than a non-military residency? What is their starting salary after residency? How much do they make 5 years out of residency? 10? Can doctors go on reserve like other members of the armed forces and hold a civilian job? If so, how much do they get paid for being on reserve? Please tell me where I can find where it says that their whole purpose for their god is to catch us and kill us...Jews and christians and the more they kill, the more they are rewarded. Quen? Why do people still think then that their are good muslims and that those are not lieing to us? My dads dr. is mohammed belief and he said he was a good man...well dr. couldn't he be separting his beleifs from his work ?
