Don't need to go to church every week. You can practice religion anywhere you wish.

Strive to be a good person. You can decide pretty much for yourself what that means. Buddhism encourages you to constantly improve yourself. Life will be difficult but it will be better if you are a hard working, responsible person.

Buddhists are compatible with other religions. They're not anti-anyone. Buddhist strive for peace yet are tough on crime. Compare that to the track record of other religions, which have mandated many wars in the name of god.

There is a great deal of misinformation out there about Buddhism, i.e. that it is life denying, that it advocates that everything is an illusion, to name just two. Actually what Buddhism is about, and it has many forms, is that it is not intended as a religion, with a belief system that one needs to adhere to. The many forms are intended to offer various suggestions on how you might set yourself free. These various "paths," as a popular writer coined them, are "ways of liberation." The most common one involves meditation, the art of being attentive in the moment. One does not practice meditation to become something, but rather to clearly understand what is to the point that you can become free of all the thought out there that limits, distorts, and causes the conflict and violence that we find in ourselves and the world in general. Then you may be free to be and act in the moment without fear and restraints. Without going deeper which would take too long here, that might be said to be something positive about Buddhism.

it seems as though you aren't expecting a real answer to this question. The answer you want to hear is, "Nothing. There is nothing positive about buddhism." That, however, is not the real answer. Buddhism is one of the most logical religions of the world and if you can't see that, i feel sorry for you.

A great path for liberating the mind from suffering. It doesn't require belief and does not cause you to dismiss any other religion you're practicing (albeit, there will be times when the concepts of the two will clash).
