I was taught that having such symbols in your house threatened your immortal soul. Things like ankhs, pentacles, wreaths, moons and other celestial symbols and even astrological signs. Does anyone else think there are dangers in having these around?

i heard if u dont eat properly u can get oesterporosis bone problem (dunno how u spell it sorry). so muslims who fast for a month or whatever, are they doing more damage than good?

In 1871, Giuseppe Mazzini issued a remarkable letter in which he graphically outlined plans for 3 world wars. Until recently this letter was on display at the British Museum Library in London. Pike aided in making this plan known in the US. It was a blue-print for three wars. Called the Mazzini-Pike Plan, its ultimate goal was eventual world domination. The letter outlined three relatively simple strategies. It called for communism, fascism, and the struggle for the Mid-East to foment three global wars and at least two major revolutions. WW1 was to destroy the Czarist government of Russia, and replace it with militant atheism. WW2 would begin by manipulating Great Britain and Germany to achieve a global war, which was done almost single handedly by Adolf Hitler. WW3 called for the firing up of the controversy between the Israeli and Moslem world. They hoped that the “Zionists” and the Moslems would destroy one another, and bring the rest of the world into a final conflict. The “Great Battle” would usher in a complete social, political, and economic chaos. To fill the void created by the “great battle” would come a world government, headed by the illuminati. In Illuminati doctrine Lucifer is GOD and Satanism is heresy…

it would seem GOD doesnt have too many fiends on this planet. especially in AMERICA THE NEW BABYLON. man is not in pursuit of GOD and his plan. MAN is only interested in self indulging pursuits which bring him a false sense of happiness. It is very funny to me how many of you people think you are going to heaven. There is never a shortage of self righteous people on earth thats for sure.

Even if human suffering is blamed on adam/eve, why would a loving god create a world where the very mechanism of survival is massive fear and suffering? Every time I watch insects or other pretty running away in hysterical fear from predators, I ask why????

As an atheist, the idea of sin is irrelevent really, it can only hold you back.
So in atheist thinking, is it apt to consider the only sin to be a belief in sin, which would imply a belief in sin, and would therefore mean you were constantly sinning?

I honestly dont think the greed of an american will allow him to make a righteous decision. Even a decision where his soul is concerned. I believe most americans will deny the existence of GOD or tell their self GOD will overlook their sin. I have always had a "pay what you think is fair" policy when babysitting and it's useually worked out fine I always got paid at least $2 per hr per child, which I have always considered a minimum but recently I've been getting paid around $1.00 per hr per child with this certain family there are 4 kids the oldest is 7 and the youngest isn't even a yr yet, there are two kids in diapers and they are someof the most energetic kids so $1 per hr per child isn't enough, how to I tell the parents withouth upsetting them or seeming rude?
