I don't believe that there is any passage in the Bible which advocates praying to anyone other than God. Praying to saints (or, strictly, asking for saints to intercede on our behalf) is a Catholic invention.

As a ex-Catholic in the christian the bible it does not say pray to any saints. In the catholic bible it says you should pray to saints. I don't know a specific place in the bible says that but I at least gave you a point of view from someone ...

It doesn't say to pray to the saints. It says pray for the saints. Only pray to God thru Jesus. The bible says, Only one mediator between God and man, Jesus. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

some human beings shouldn't examine the Bible in any respect... in elementary words those who're literate adequate could attempt it, then they favor to be careful the conclusions they draw from it. this isn't a favored challenge to assert...yet probable in elementary words 10-20 p.c. of adults can examine the Bible...even the best English translations...with understand-how. anybody else is restricted to gaining understand-how of from respectable instructors and restricted elements of the Bible they could memorize. there is not any requirement to examine the Bible....that would want to exclude almost anybody if it did require it.

It absolutely doesn't say it anywhere. We are told to pray to the Father in the name of the Son under the influence of the Spirit.

It does not say we are to pray to anyone but God. When teaching his followers to pray, Jesus told them at Matt. 6:9:" You must pray then this way: `Our Father in heaven, let your name be sactified"`... That tell us that our prayers should be directed to the Father, Jehovah God.

The bible is a history book and a guide to social living. Therefore anybody can pray to anyone of thing and for anyone or thing, let your concience be your guide
