The problem with the answers so far is that in absolving god of the responsibility for the existence of child molesters, you must also be arguing that this god is not omnipotent - that there are things he cannot control. Conversely, if you argue that he *could* control them, and chooses not to, then you cannot argue that he is not responsible.

no believer of "god" will accept anything bad in the world as made from god. its always made from satan. if its good, then "god" made it. if not, "satan" did.

kind of stupid reasoning, but oh well, there it is.

God doesnt like child molestors....Everything God's children chooses to do whether good or bad is of free will. He gives us a choice to serve him or Satan and what you choose is up to you. He doesnt like it, but in the end all wrong doing will be punished.

I don't think a genetic predisposition for pedophilia has been found...so to conclude that our environment (society) made the child molesters would be a much more rational thought.

Yes, it's much easier to blame someone else than ourselves.
Generations breed child molesters, look at the stats.

God gave us all free will remember.

Sin has been everywhere of all types.

People are more confused now than before, perhaps cause our world is going to fast, we need to slowdown stop and think more about everything, being open.

God did not make their sin, they created it for themselves. He gave us choice and we all misuse it in some way or another.
But for their every sin, their punishment builds as all sin must be paid for in justice.

Icarus,
I see you're still trying to blame God for our faults. You need to learn what the term "low self efficacy" means because you're displaying it here.

You've asked this question a few times and my answer still remains the same. When people lobbied to kick God out of society, it resulted in denying His teachings which released evil on the world. You are reaping what you sowed.
So you want to kick God out of your life and still expect Him to get involved in your problems. How many doors have you slammed on people who have tried to teach you about Jesus?

Just look at society and what history teaches us. Before the 1960's, God was taught in public schools. How many violent crimes, school shootings, rapes, etc. have you heard about from Colonial america up til the 50's? Not many.
Since evolution started being taught vorraciously in the 60's and God started to get pushed out, you saw a dramatic increase in teen pregnancy, violence, rape and other horrible crimes. So, you can blame your god of evolution for this mess. Isn't it he who teaches that people are just animals? So, if we are just animals, then there are no morals. Your god of evolution teaches that you are the god of your own universe. So, these criminals have no connection to God's standards because you have removed the standards from society and replaced them with your own desires to do what you feel is best.
If you take away most forms of moral teaching from people's lives, then they will grow up to be these rapists. Parents do not teach their children about God anymore and they are growing up to be animals. What a surprise.

Once again, the anti-God liberals are the one's at fault for this, not God.

Once you realize this, you can get on with your life and be a much more enlightened and wise person. Until then, you will continue to walk in darkness believing the lies of Rosie O'Donnel.

Prov 1:
23Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

24Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;

25But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:

26I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;

27When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

28Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

29For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:

30They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

31Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

32For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

33But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

**response to your edit:
The problem with your reasoning is that you are assuming God didn't mention what would happen if you rejected Him. If you would read the bible, you would find that He addressed this many times...if you reject His teachings, you will suffer from evil.
God didn't "create" child molesters. He created people. What people are taught creates their behavior.
What you believe determines how you behave.
If you believe that God exists and you must obey Him or go to hell, you will be more apt to follow righteousness.
If you believe that you are an animal and there is no God, you are more apt to act any way you want.

God doesn`t want any of us to sin.

We sin because we want to. (choose to)

I say "we", since we all sin in different ways and not one of us is any better than another!!

uh GOD gave us free will...we choose good or evil....satan sends his demons to change our perceptions about right vs wrong so we rationalize our behaviors to justify our actions.....
