The fundamentalists who are waging a crusade against Islam hate gays. But most gay people hate terrorism, and you're either with us, or you are with the terrorists right?

So what's a gay person to do if they want to join the army, but are rejected due to their sexuality? Are the fighiting for Bin Laden then?

Gay people can join the armed forces. You just can't talk about it or be asked about it.
Article 125 of the UCMJ prohibits sodomy although, but they have to catch you in the act.

(P.S., oral sex is illegal technically in the military)
Go figure.

Yes, you should! Quit your bitching and sign up! I spent 30 years in the Marine Corps fighting for this great country and I would be a liar if I didn't know that there were "Gay" people in the military. Quit using excuses, If you want to fight for freedom, like I did for 30 years then shut up and do it! A Gay person can pull a trigger and fight for their beliefs, Right? Then just shut up and do it! Just because your "Gay" don't make you weak, right? Semper Fi, We are all Americans. Signed, MGYSGT WOODALL 30 years, USMC Retired.

Where are you getting your information? i believe that most gays who read Y/A would agree with me (and I'm not pro-gay) when I say that they have been fighting the war on terror since they announced they were gay.

I know quite a few gays and lesbians, and it's a fight for them daily because of the choice of their sexuality.

You know, I am tired of this.

All you lamers who throw rocks at folks because they don't make the same choices you do suck and will burn in hell if I have anything to do with it.

I made my choice a very long time ago. I am celebate!

I am proud of my choice. I hope those who make a different choice than the so called "norm" are proud of the choice they made as well.

I challenge anyone who is a religious zealot to come meet me F2F and prove me wrong!

Please forgive me for I am not tolerant of closed minds. I just might kick your as*!

Shena and Webster would like to meet you as well!

Have fun but be safe!

Don't they have a don't ask, don't tell policy? As far as I am concerned anyone who is willing to put the lives on the line for what is right, gay or not, should be given the same respect.

I have known some great gay soldiers. Of course, they were on the hush-hush.
