I am an Australian and will be attending a wedding of a close friend of mine (but I don't know her husband) in India in January. What is a good gift to give that is culturally appropriate for both?

I have a friend that invited me to work out with him. I agreed to pay him a little money to help guide me through the process of working out since I'm new to it.

The first few weeks were great, but lately he's been showing up 15-20 minutes late with no excuse and no apology. This week, he has come everyday with an MP3 player and earphones in his ears. When I have a question, he takes the earphones out of his ears to hear me then answers my questions and puts them right back in.

Truthfully, this makes me feel like crap. I'm trying not to take this so personal and I don’t know that I would care as much if I was not paying him to "train" me.

So I guess the question is…. what is the etiquette for behavior when inviting someone to work out with you? Is it OK to do this stuff?

Christians live in fear that god will torture them in hell for all eternity if they don’t bow the knee to Jesus. They get mad when people bring this to their attention. They attack, judge and condemn the people who present to them the truth of their fear of god’s wrath. They lie and say things like my relationship is based on love of god. Even they know there is no such thing as a "personal relationship with Jesus"; they continue to perpetuate this lie. A personal relationship can only be had with someone who you can speak with on a personal level. Your so called "relationship" is nothing more than your sub-conscious mind. People claim Jesus speaks to them yet what Jesus "speaks" to them is in direct contradiction to the other Christian cults. Everyone has there own interpretation of the bible so thus it is subjective. They know deep inside their hearts that this is a lie but since they can’t handle the fact that they are afraid of god’s threats of torture them so they lash out in a ve

For example, Wallace from Wallace & Gromit says, "Cheese and crackers!" I say "Cheese fries!" in place of the "S" or "F" words if I'm in a situation I can't let the real words fly.... My cousin uses foreign substitutes. And the tourettes syndrome guy (have you seen his videos?) seems fond of saying "Bob Saget!" LOL

As I was traveling thru the US yesterday I stopped off in a restroom in Illinois on the back of the door was this sign. PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH tampons, pads, liners and diapers. As tampons pads and liners state they are flushable to put this sign makes sense. My question is how stupid does a person have to be to flush a diaper? This sign thing is getting a little out of hand. Do not use the hairdryer while bathing. Do not touch the iron when hot. Do not eat the bag of silicon in most products. Do these signs need to be put into Adult products? Are we all so incompetent we have to be told "caution maybe hot" on a cup of coffee??? What ever happen to common sense did it go out style?

I have heard (but I don't believe it) that Koreans don't like blacks, and vice versa.

Now, I know prejudice isn't supposed to make sense, but this is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Of all Asian ethnic groups to hate, why Koreans? What's so special about them? Meaning no offense to Koreans, of course. :)
And why would a Korean care about what a black guy does? If a Korean (supposedly) doesn't like an African-American, then what about Chinese and Japanese? Are they "supposed" to have some kind of vendetta against blacks as well?

So, I'm wondering, how did something like this arise? Is there some bad history between the two groups?

Marry Jane was looking for Mr. GoodBar. She met an M&Ms with peanuts that had a Million Dollar Bar which was a Jaw Breaker when she gave him a Blow PoP He gave it to her in the Milkyway. That gave her an Almond Joy; then she gave birth to Baby Ruth.

I personally think that parts of the Old Testament are absolutly dumb. Read these lines taken from Leviticus:

"Do not plant your field with two kinds of seed" 19:19
"Do not wear clothing woven of 2 kinds of materials" 19:19
"Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard" 19:27
The whole eleventh and fifteenth chapters of Leviticus.

READ THE 11th and 15th CHAPTERS! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE A CASE SUPPORTING THE OLD TESTAMENT.

What do you think?
