My conclusion is that: If Heaven existed, it would be either contaminated by human greed or static and boring. Why don´t we try to be happy here instead?

Atheists hate god. We just don't believe in him. Hor example I don't believe there is a man named Garghelgaggenshmeiger living on the North Pole. That doesn't mean if I met Garghelgaggenshmeiger on the North Pole I would hate him.

I work in an elementary school, and each dept is asked to create a group costume. The admin rewards good costumes with prizes. Creativity, cohesiveness and collaboration are important, as is the appropriateness of of the content. Thank you!

Well I asked my bro the other day if he would like to see this video we use to look at when we were younger. He agreed. When I showed it to him people started saying it was immature to watch those kinds of these, expessially when your a child. Should I be blamed for looking back on a couple of memories? Well I would have to agree, children shouldn't be watching this kind of stuff but we were just little boy but we all saw stuff when we were kids. Stuff that was better left unsee or unsaid.

prefer us to kill lots of people but become christian and gain forgivness at the end of our lives?

if god really wants us to get into heaven then you would have to say that he would prefer the later - but this means that a killer is allowed into heaven while the non killer is sent to hell?

I have difficulties to understand exactly what this word means. Examples: a white person born in Spain is hispanic, or only latin americans? A black person born in Cuba and living in USA is black or hispanic, or both? The children of a white american man and a woman born in Central America are Hispanic or white? A white, blond and blue eyed person born in South America is white or hispanic? The people of Jamaica speak english and were colonized by brites and africans. Are they hispanic? In sum, this word refers to race, heritage, skin color, language, or what? Have the words Hispanic and Latino the same meaning? Can anyone help me? Thanks.

It seems that everytime I'm in a big international airport, I see a group of tall, white people, sitting around in a little circle. They are either blond or red-haired and have blue or green eyes. They have dreads and wear striped rough-wool sweaters and those Andean mountains-style ear flap hats with pompons. Who are they? Where are they from? Do they have a name?

I am a Catholic and I am preatty tired of people suggesting that I'm going to hell because I worship idols, which is not the case obviously. Sure, we do have statues of Jesus and our saints but we do not worship them.

"You shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth." This is a commandment that was pulled right out of the Bible(NIV). But do you understand the differance between an idol and an icon.

Idol- a material effigy that is worshipped

Icon- a picture, image, or other representation
(This is what us Catholics have)

Thank you for listening.

(Are there any comments that relate to what I have just said?)

Hello!! :o) I hope you're OK. I very recently asked if God is 'all-knowing'. Most of you said 'yes'. If YOU said 'yes' - I can't help but ask... WHY PRAY?! If God is - as many of you believe - ALL KNOWING - than He would already know what you want and need. So again I ask... WHY PRAY?! Have a great day!! Craig!! :o)

PS I do NOT believe that God is 'all-knowing'. [just so you know] I believe prayer is very important - for that reason.

Why is the hell of Dante's Inferno accept over the Bible's description?

Once upon a time I was a Christian and showed a lot of Christian love to all I encountered. A friend of mine that I haven't seen in 25 years has contacted me. She was converted from Roman Catholic to Evangelical Christian by the love I had shown her. She is still a Christian but I have moved on. What an irony that is to me. Of course I love her as always but now, my beliefs can offend her. Any comments? How would you handle this situation?
