acccording to hinduism, why is there a cycle? according to other religions, why didn't god send us straight to heaven. Why did he sent us here?

It is sad that people waste their lives thinking that there is a better place they will be going.
No one knows... So enjoy this time you have now because you do not know either way.
Do whatever you want becasue when you die all science points to the facts that that is all there is and you go black and then nothing else.
They give the hope of Heaven so that people do not go out and kill or rape other people. Because if you knew for sure that there was nothing else after this life them a lot of people would not care what they do to other people because they know when they die they do not have to worry about anything coming back to haunt them.

He put us here so he can see how much we love him and prove our worths. Why would he send people to heaven and them not prove why they should be there. It's almost like letting whoever wants to go into the presidents office who wants to go not knowing if someone might be a terrorist or a murderer.

According to Christianity, God is testing us in our lifetime on earth to see if we're worthy of heaven (Adam and Eve; original sin; all that).

In heaven there is no evil whatsoever. Nothing - none - zip. Not even a rude comment or a hurt feeling. IT IS ALL GOOD. Would you honestly fit in there for eternity? Or do you need some training first? You get one shot!
