Atheists hate god. We just don't believe in him. Hor example I don't believe there is a man named Garghelgaggenshmeiger living on the North Pole. That doesn't mean if I met Garghelgaggenshmeiger on the North Pole I would hate him.

I guess it's because of all athiests that do hatefull things toward those who do love God. look how all the crosses are disappearing across the country, if you don't hate God, why do they have to go?? why do they bother you so much?? Is it that you hate God, or hate his children, is it that the only way you can hurt God for not existing, is to punish those who love him. is that why you spend so much time in religion and spirituality, so you can show us how much you don't hate God for not existing, and throw down insults and hurtful comments to people who ask a question when they are hurting, telling them that God doesn't exist so get over it. Why kick a person when they are down and looking for their God? a kind word from scripture, you don't believe but your here to make sure you can crush the spirit of someone who is barely hanging on. WHat other purpose could you have for hanging around the religion community if not to destroy God, or his followers???

Might be because of the childish, insulting posts that come along once in awhile, my personal favorite is "Did god rape Mary?"....Athiests use that one alot. I'm not a Christian or an Athiest but there's a wide variety of people who may give them a reason to think that.

I have come across many questions that talk about how atheists supposedly hate god and I would always think, "That's not right". It is refreshing to see someone else noticed this misconception.

lol...They think that b/c it is what their parents tell them to put the Atheist in the position of the 'bad guy' instead of the postition of the guy who brings up the possibility that god may be a complete myth.

They simply refuse to admit that people can disbelieve in gods, so they assume that we deny gods because we hate them. Why else would you deny something you believed in?
