I also grieve for all the sadly ignorant people out there who think that their blasphemous heart attitudes will be overlooked by a just God. We do have to be careful though that it is not just their foul mouths that speak lightly of the things of God that will get them this eternal judgment. People have dammed God and Jesus for a long time, and God has never spoken against them... He hates their sin and attitudes, but He still loves the sinner. It is a heart attitude against the Holy Spirit that causes this problem... referred to in Mark 3. The Holy Spirit is the one part of the Godhead that draws us to Christ and salvation. When we harden our hearts to His tug, when we just don't care anymore... when we are no longer moved by the Holy Spirits convicting power...that is when we are on dangerous ground. But, as long as we are still worried about making heaven.... your heart is not yet hardened. You can still be forgiven. I pray for all those on this answers page that takes the things of God so lightly! Thanks for caring for them too.

Jesus said that because the pharisees were accusing him of using the power from the demons to expel demons, and he was trying to explain to them that any remark made against him or even God himself could be forgiven, but to falsely accuse something , even after such a visible miracle, would not be forgivable. A human that could c evidence of God's power and yet talk bad about it and oppose it would not be worthy of forgiveness. Very good question by the way

If that is what the bible says then why do Christians try to "save" people from other religions who have probably said that "God's word" is not true? Looks like if you tried to help me "find god" I would still be burning in "a lake of fire".
Hmmm...

What a person of one faith considers blasphemy may be the expression of another's honest belief. To the Jews and Muslims, the idea that Jesus is the son of God is blasphemous. Would it be fair for them to ask you never to speak of Jesus as the son of God?
Common courtesy is one thing--I strongly believe in that,--but I will not censor myself to avoid irritating your religious sensibilities.

Can't you see that your religion is ruled by fear? You are afraid of your god...too afraid to even speak because you could be blaspheming. This isn't the Dark Ages, we can speak our minds without fear from God or well-meaning inquistors.

The problem with this is that christians often even presume its blasphemy if you even do:
Suppose this happend or this action:
Such as "What if Jesus had married' ...
Too many think that is blaspehmy when its not even close.
Doing what-ifs about god or jesus, is not only not blaspehmous but also is reasonably healthy, it means you are healthy in your faith.
If one of faith cannot handle 'whatif's they need to grow up, both as individual human beings, and in their faith.

Blasphemy is a victimless crime.
Watch what I say? Buy me a video camera, chump.
According to your fairy tales, your "god" is as petulant and selfish as a child; your "god" is an egocentric mass murderer; your "god is a petty and vindictive brute; your "god" is a rapist.
Your "god" can create a universe but will... bweak down and cwy if anyone twies to say bad fings about him. Waaaaaahhhh!
Your "god" does nothing to me despite your made-up charges of "blasphemy".
Your "god" can blow me.

No, blasphemy is a victimless crime. Nothing the Bible says pertains to reality.
