crop of so called popular music artists out there these days? Everyone of them sounds alike. I think its sad that no one these days is unique and groundbreaking. Is anybody new going to emerge that is actually worth listening to?

Canadian Maher Arar was sent by the US to Syria for torture because he was suspected of terrorist ties based on flimsy RCMP intelligence. He has since been entirely exonerated, but in order to stop the torture, he said he was connected to Al Qaeda. It is now admitted by all parties that the evidence against him was false, but nonetheless, they have the tortured confession.

If you were tortured by the Christian President, would you tell a lie, admit to something that was not true, if it would stop the torture?

For example, we automatically believe things fall down not up. Eventhough, it's gravity but we don't ask we just believe. In this world 2 + 2 is 4 but could it be that in another world universe or in afterlife that other logic exist that's why the concept of who made God doesn't make sense to us because of our limited ways of thinking with our logic here. But if we understand other logic don't you think that could explain many unanswered questions such as who created God?

My Mother makes me goto church, i have no intention to go. iam 18. i DONT believe in god.

what should i do? She knows very well that i dont belive!

i hate to go to church, stand up for an hour or so, looking at a guy whos running up and down the altar.

what should i do to stop this? cant get my own place yet! and move away from these superstitious people. i had it!

help!

ps:iam a student of biology and evolution, that explains my belief that god doesnt exist.

If the Christmas celebration has its roots in ancient Babylon would it be proper to celebrate it even though the Bible says that we must worship God with spirit and truth?

In my case:
people on here are mean to me when I ask questions or report me even if I didn't do anything.
I still live with my parents and they don't like the situation
I don't like the situation
I can't get a part-time job because I'm going to school. I'm finishing my stupid degree
I'm poor and don't have enough money to buy anything I want (the happy book says to buy what you want)
I always get frustrated and constantly feel sorry for myself. There's more but I ran out of characters.

I plan to spend less on Christmas,but spread cheer by giving close friends, neighbors, and community baked goods displayed in a unique way.
I always go waaaay out but will do things a little different. ( who knows I may give out gas cards.lol. )

At least, we know the Muslims want us dead and are actively trying to destroy the American government. Christians actively undermine American freedoms by outlawing one at a time. All while they sit by silently as un-named 'enemies' are rendition away to secret prisons, Christians may want to get involved with government more often than just when they are trying to ban abortion, gay marriage or take away some other freedoms. They would do well to stop actively trying to limit other people’s freedoms.
